Found my Bikram hot yoga teacher, she now has her own personal site!

I think she's now based in Alabang, her hot yoga classes are much cheaper compared to Bikram yoga Alabang's rates

Here's her site: http://www.pureposturebodybyoga.com/

She was with Pulse yoga Makati, I was her student for a long time! please do take her classes, you'll love it too for sure!

the other day since i was pressed for time couldn't go to yoga plus, had to drop in at bikram eastwood. It cost me P680 hehe.

during the latter part of the session i couldn't do some poses because the flooring wasn't rubberized. my knees were super hurting! also, the mat i used was not good enough to support my knees.

made me love yoga plus even more =)

My yoga is Bikram yoga. I have tried vinyasa but it is not for me. Yes, it is relaxing but it becomes too relaxing to the point na nakakatulog ako.

Maybe I'm just used to the military yoga which is bikram yoga. I like to meditate in a hot room, smell and all. It is good for the legs though. So to anyone who is looking to elongate their legs, try bikram. Even the senior citizens in my bikram class have killer legs :D

The downside is that bikram does not have many many arm exercises. So at home when time permits, I follow vinyasa videos in order to acquire arm strength. I just do the sun salutations, upward downward dog repeatedly.

Well every person will have their own style.  Some like Vinyasa more, some Bikram.  For me it really is ashtanga.  I did do some Bikram.  I did have fun doing it and it really helped with my flexibility.  Eventually I found Ashtanga Yoga in Yoga Manila.  After trying Ashtanga I never returned to Bikram.

I've been practicing ashtanga for years... right now I have been practicing Vinyasa as well.  I guess I appreciate the variety.  Specially nice since different teachers will have their own different sequences.... Everytime I practice Vinyasa with a different teacher my body, my mind  will always feel different.  Makes me realize how much effects Yoga has.   :) :) :)

Good Observation! Bikram is more on the legs, parts of the one legged standing series (dandayamana janushirasa, dandayamana dhanurasana, tuladandasana...) Is a killer!!!

You could opt for Ashtanga-Bikram combined classes or mix another style to your Bikram.

Bikram's also weak on hip openers, twisting...etc. You could go w/ Ashtanga-Bikram Series combined! Thats a mega Killer. Or just do Ashtanga ;)

I was laughing on my chair while reading this line!
"Even the senior citizens in my bikram class have killer legs"  ;D

^ Yup I think I can :D our scheds kasi are usually negotiable as long as we complete the agreed time (say 8hrs). Otherwise, no chance for me ;D  I would still need to review their scheds and choose from there. Hopefully I find one nearest to my place of work. Fingers crossed! :)
