Had my first yoga(Fundamentals of Yoga) this morning with Corey Wills... I really enjoyed it! despite the fact that my arms and legs are a bit achy..=) I signed up already for their 1 mo. unlimited Yoga, its 4 buildings away from work so I'm really excited since I will have no reason to not attend.. I can even run for one session in between work hours...

I'll shop for my own Yoga mat this weekend! wohoo! cheers to a new healthy lifestyle!

Hi mga sis. I do yoga every now and then. I really love it but I must admit that it can really be expensive. I hope you can suggest an affordable place to go because I'm really hoping to do yoga every week.

Hi sis, where are you based? In my research, Iyengar Yoga(LKG and Rockwell,Makati) offers 2,500 for unlimited 1 month.  It's cheap compared to all others I looked at, although they have no other amenities eg. Shower Rooms, which I basically found essential since I can only do yoga before and after work hours(sometimes just before doing overtime) so I really needed a shower room since I will go (back) to work.

Hi sis Ibong, thanks so much..in fact, I enjoyed it, kahit na medyo hindi ako nakakasabay at mas madalas akong naka rest position..hahahahaha!  But I really enjoyed it, I felt comfortable and Mr. Corey gave so much encouragement, you don't feel like you're doing it wrong.. =) Malapit ka lang pala sa amin sis, I live in Cembo... maybe by December I can join you in your Guadalupe clinic... Since I won't probably enroll in Bliss by December since half of the month is off from work.. sayang yung bayad tee hee!..

i used to go sa chi spa last year, 500 walk-in. maganda yung place, very relaxing, pagpunta mo palang sa place marerelax ka na

meron din sa Iyengar, makati. super sulit, 2500 unlimited/mo.

any yoga studios in Ortigas? para walking distance lang sa office. hehe. I haven't received feedback pa from Vinyasa Yoga Center located in Strata. was looking into Balanced Body Studio for Pilates/Aero-Sculpt too. sana may GT na interested din

im doing this sa golds...okay naman...para sa akin, so far so good. sobra akong pagpawisan..though maganda talaga sana kung sa mga centers kayo mag-eenroll para yoga talaga ang focus nila..kaso medyo mahal

Yes, he only teaches Fundamentals of Yoga at Bliss though, I love his very technical, yet fun and comedic style of teaching.  I highly recommend him to guide beginners like me. =)

anyone wants to try Yoga @ Chi Spa? 3500/10 sessions. yun na ata pinakamalapit for someone working in ortigas.

Hey pooka!  Yep I heard from one of my students that they already closed.. I'm not sure where they transferred.  Unforetunately there are very limited studios in ortigas.. I have tried yoga manila... they're good.  that's actually where i started studying ashtanga.   try ashtanga mysore style.

I used to attend his classes before. He's really nice, and he really encourages you to do your best. Swerte ako one time, yun class kasi wala ibang student, so naging one-on-one class. He was able to tell me in details yun mga mali ko sa mga poses, which really benefited me a lot. Even if his class is 630am, nakakagana gumising kasi I know his class is going to be a great one.

Kaso tagal ko na hindi nagattend ng class niya. hayyy....

Hi Pooka,

If you really want the nice mats like manduka, you can it from aura athletica in powerplant.  Or there are also the generic, cheap.. also does the job mats.   basically in almost all sport shops like tobys, chris sports they have it.  Even in landmark they also have.  The cheapest that you can buy is at 399 in chris sports and landmark.  the price goes higher as the mats become thicker.
