^ ganon! naisahan ako don ah! i paid 6840 (membership fee plus 4mos contract). tapos 2.8 monthly starting october. bale 2mos [textspeak!] yung kasama don sa binayaran ko. i started last week.

mababait naman ang mga PT, and very accomodating. My PT is Ejhay Fabregas. Bata pa, mabait naman. I would like to get an older/seasoned PT sana, kasi ang mahal ng personal trainer ah. Yung 20 sessions is 8100. Kaya lang naawa ako sa kanya e. Working student, so sige na nga. hehe. Very supportive naman talaga. Talo pa ang bf kung makapagtext. Every mealtime, itatanong sayo kung ano kinakain mo. Nakakaloka. Ubusang load eto. But i appreciate his effort.

Hi friends. This is my first ever post so inisip ko about gyms na lang un popost ko :)

I've actually been a member of the three gyms: FF, Slimmer's and GG.  In that order.  I started out as an FF member in Eastwood when they just opened there.  Of course, mas bata pa rin ako nun so mas determined din ako.  I lost a lot of weight with FF. :)

Marketing wise, really tricky because they will say this promo will end on this date (usually the next week) when hindi naman pala.  But at first I really enjoyed it because the facilities were great, there were hardly any lines and my routine (2-3 times a week) seemed to work.  I joined some gym classes (Yoga, Aero-box?) and later on, I made my membership a Passport one when I had a different job.  I've been to FF Fort, Robinsons Summit, Wynsum, but I think the best pa rin un Eastwood because mas maluwag siya.  Malayo lang nga.

At some point, super tinatamad na ako and I was paying too much, so I quit.  I also felt bad because it was as if they didn't value their old members (like me); I learned that my friend who applied for a new membership got a LOWER rate than I did, whereas I had been a member from the start.  So mejo bad trip un!

I went to Slimmer's right after (It was cheap but you have to sign up for a machine which you can use for only 30 minutes.  Masikip din and mahirap magpark sa Pasay Road branch...but they were nicer than FF, believe it or not.  Siguro kasi smaller gym.)  After another job change, I went for Gold's Gym Galleria which cost around P15k a year (pwede na diba?).  Pero 180 sessions lang un.  OK na rin.  Me PT ako (7k for 3 mos) and equipment is great naman.  Longer hours pa kasi till 12 midnight sila.  Mainit lang pag after mall hours kasi wala nang aircon nun.  They also have a sauna and steam room which I haven't used as much.  I'm happy with it na para di super mahal.

I just miss the following from FF: the rowing machine and the spa because both are not available in GG Galleria.

Celebs seen in FF: Asi Taulava, Luis Manzano (dati)
GG: Rico Blanco, some Ateneo players, Sam Milby went one time to shoot a feature, LOL.  Nakakahiya kung makunan ka while sweating on a machine.  Haha.  Hope this helped! :)

Im done with my 20 sessions with my PT, and now signed up for another 30 sessions. Yey!

I love FF SM Southmall. :)

Although, here are some points that the management should consider:

1. PT should not be allow to have personal relationship (BF-GF) with their Client. Pakelamera? haha!

2. PT should not be allowed to accept gifts from their client, no matter how small and no matter what the occassion is.

3. There should be a rotation of PT-Client. Kasi like me, minsan, naiisip ko I want to change PT na, pero nahihiya ako e. Parang it will be unethical, so kung may rotation, automatic na. hehe.

4. Dapat minamanage ng Supervisor yung available time ng Clients and kung sino pinakabest na PT for that day/time.

5. They should adjust the group-x schedule to a later time. Kasi naman, most of the sessions are midmorning or afternoon. Eh syempre, after office ang schedule ng most ng members, so tapos na lahat.

Ang dami kong reklamo no. Pero happy pa ako niyan ah. Hahaha! :P

@angeleigh, Sis, ang 20 sessions of PT mo cost Php8100 only?  Ang mahal pala ng binabayaran ko!  I paid Php14,250 for 18 sessions + 2 free sessions at FF RCBC Plaza. Nothing great naman about the facilities, except for the pool, which I have not used.

sis baka yung yun intensive na tinatawag nila. 30 mins lang per session, parepareho lang PT package kahit saang branch.

^ Oh, I see.  My PT session lasts for one hour.  It is intensive.  So I guess that is the reason why it's more expensive.  I didn't know about the PT packages since it's my first time to avail.  I recently re-joined FF (I was a member of FF Eastwood from 2002-2007) in RCBC Plaza.

Kaya il stick with a Silver PT.

I don't really know if I have a gold or silver type of PT.  Basta, mahal siya ha.

How will I have my fee lowered kaya?  Siempre, the management of FF RCBC will say ganoon talaga ang rate nila.  Hmm, mag-iisip ako.

I signed up for 4 months kasi ang hirap kumalas sa membership kapag annual. I will think of a strategy para ma-lower ang PT fee ko next time.  Ang mahal talaga.

How much per session sa ibang FF branches?  Sa RCBC, it's Php1,100 per session.

Para sakin, hindi sulit ang Gold, kasi nga, i dont see any difference with regards to the routine that they give their client. ... Parang ichecheck nila yung bone structure mo? Kung may scolio ka or what. Basta i forgot na e.

I will check nga.  In fairness, my PT is really a licensed physical therapist and magaling siya.  I've lost fat mass and gained lean muscle mass in just 1 1/2 months of PT.  At saka, I know myself too well.  I am not disciplined nor savvy enough to make my own routine so I need help talaga from an expert.  Sa classes naman, I don't enjoy yung mga body jam and hip hop na may sayaw.  I like body combat, body balance and RPM.

sis 30mins lang talaga yun....wala ka lang kasabay na clients kaya ganun...ako nga dati 3hrs pa kasi ako lang client nya sa gabi....lol....but kung mapupunta ka sa PT na maraming client 30mins lang yun...sure ako kasi balak ko din kumuha niyan eh and FF has flat rate when it comes to PT kahit saang branch ka pa mapunta.

sa robinsons manila kita ang difference ng PT na gold and silver...mas magaling talaga ang mga gold I would say kasi nagtry ako ng iba't ibang PT when my orig PT resigned and I don't have any choice but to look for a new one...hiningian ko sila ng free PT sessions....naka 5 free PT sessions ako before I choose but honestly mas naging satisfied ako sa bago kong PT kesa dun sa PT ko na nagresign...  ;D

I'm so sad nga na natapos na sessions ko with him and hindi na ako nagrenew since I resigned na, but I actually referred 2 of my friends to him kasi nga sobra siyang galing and hindi mabilang sa oras....kanina he approached me bibigyan daw niya me ng free session/s next week due to my referral I said wag na kasi nakakahiya naman....
