Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

^ and ^^ Do you recommend Fangirl also by Rainbow Rowell?

Not sure if I still want to read other books from this author. While I really, really enjoyed Eleanor and Park (I highly recommended it to a lot of readers), I was disappointed with, and will never recommend, Attachments - took me a while to finish the book! BORING.

I'm a fangirl din kasi when it comes to book charaters, kpop, etc pero even if you're not one I think you'll still like the story. May halo din siya about love, college and having a sister. Hindi boring yung story.

@jamie_0117:  Sorry sis, I haven't read Fangirl yet.  Ang nabasa ko pa lang so far na books niya are Eleanor & Park tsaka Attachments.  Mas maganda talaga ang Eleanor & Park kaysa sa Attachments.  I have yet to get a hold of Carry On.  I've read some good reviews about Fangirl and Landline, and nasa reading list ko na sila, hopefully they'll turn out okay.  I hope you'll enjoy reading Fangirl

Fangirl has a 4+ rating in goodreads, but I personally do not recommend. Too many conflicts, Rowell has not even resolved all of them. With a complex story and several characters, I feel that excerpts from Carry On  was not necessary. I know that Rowell loves writing about  socially awkward, nerdy characters but Cath, the protagonist, was a very sad person who just kept on crying about everything.

Out of her 3 books that I have read, sa Eleanor and Park lang ako natuwa.

If you're into feel-good romance with characters you just can't help but ship, then I recommend any books by Kasie West Fluff all the way!

Legend Trilogy - Dystopian setting, fast-paced, full of action
If I Stay and Where She Went - Love and loss, super naiyak ako lalo na sa Where She Went
Daughter of Smoke and Bone Series - Love the 'you and me against the world' kind of love here.
We Were Liars - Short summer read
Code Name Verity - Friendship above all else
Speak - Somehow talks about rape culture in high schools
Before I Fall - Bullying and death
Eleanor and Park - Who wouldn't want to remember about their first love, right?
The Fault in Our Stars - Cancer and love
Harry Potter Series - The Boy who lived
