Yeah, I miss the 90s too.

commercials...hmm...

i remember yung

1) "coconuts! that will make us float!"
2) "open this, ay nipples!" "evenflo yan!" "ang clear! ang ganda!"
3) "dragon katol---lamowk sey gowradowng tehypok!"
4) close up-- closer you and i commercial.
5) "Hi! my name is (forgot na) and i'm from Pasedena, California and I use Players cologne for men!"
6) "Seiko seiko wallet. ang wallet na maswerte. ang balat niya ay genuine...international pa ang mga design."

umabot sa early 90s yung commercials na

7) La Germania
8 ) RA Home Video (star wars intro...then..drama...action..suspense heheh)
9) Cash and Carry
10) white castle whisky!
11) 680 Home Appliances
12) B..E..A...M... means smile! smile kami pag beam. beam na beam kami protectado...panalo sa presyo..panalo pag...

- frequent coup attempts
- streetboys.
- philippines hosted miss universe pageant
- "low tide or high tide?"
- ramos regime
- declaration of erap as president "walang kamag anak, walang kaibigan..etc etc"
- gimik vs tgis
- april boy regino restobar..haha..sayang di ako nakapasok dun...

^LOL! natawa ako sa april boy restobar... yung may malaking cap ba yung facade nun?

90s was basically my high school life. dami nauso nun:

- doc martens, giordano shirts, hooded shirts, tretorn sneakers. di ko sure kung pop swatch lumitaw nung 90s or late 80s pa.

- the emergence of bands like eraserheads, rivermaya, after image, true faith, siakol, etc. dito sa 'pinas. overseas, there's the grunge bands like nirvana and pearl jam, also stone temple pilots (sus, pahirapan sa pag-alam kung ano talaga ang title ng mga kanta nila like interstate love song), counting crows, alanis morissette. sa hiphop, andyan si mc hammer, vanilla ice, beastie boys (90s sila, diba?).

- dance moves na pinauso ng UMD, streetboys at gwapings. running man, yung butterfly (sa always ata yun), etc.

- peachy and wacks! hahaha!

- anime like ghost fighter, time quest, julio at julia, cedie, sarah, super boink, slam dunk, sailormoon. suki kami ng channel 13 pag hapon ng weekends.

- at syempre ang matinding earthquake, ashfall, at pagputok ng pinatubo.

spice girls, backstreet boys, hanson, the moffats, gil, savage garden, oasis.. dami, super pop music fan ako nung 90s! :)

at higit sa lahat, balita ala una sa channel 4 na laging pinapanuod ng late step-grandfather ko.. haay, sarap ibalik ang nakaraan..

can't recall eh. basta ang location noon eh sa crossing (where mega mall is). rinig nga sa labas pag may gig doon. bigla na lang nagsara kasi nalugi yata.

on the lighter side...

-di na gaanong kumikita ang action movies
-MAGING SINO KA MAN film ni robin padilla..hay its one of my favorite pinoy movies.
