Was back reading. Me naman different. I don't like Myron's but I like Cru.

Last night we had 10oz ribeye steak cooked medium well at highlands steakhouse at moa. But nothing can beat house of wagyu's wagyu steak cooked on top of a volcanic stone.

The previous weekend, we tried Strip steakhouse in Solaire. Sarap din, pati side dishes nila, tsaka maganda ang ambiance. Tho medyo namamahalan ako.. Buti di ako nagbayad, hehe.. Another steakhouse na gusto ko is Cru - dun we usually order the steak for two, then share na kami ni husband. For value-for-money steak, i like Wagyu Stone Grill naman. Yun nga lang, most of the time e kumakapit ang amoy sa damit..

My husband naman likes Melo's and Elbert's.

Highlands Steakhouse sa MOA.  Masarap ang steak nila kaso hoooong mahal!  Once pa lang ako kumain doon at hindi pa naulit hehe.

All things considered (price, taste, service, ambiance), my top 7 steaks in this order:

1.) Tivoli
2.) Elbert's
3.) 22 Prime
4.) Cru
5.) Impressions
6.) House of Wagyu ( Don't go lower than Grade 8 )
7.) Mamou

Cheaper, but sulit naman:

1.) The Nest
2.) Gulliver's
3.) Hai Chix

Did not like (sorry):

1.) CHOPS
2.) I'm Angus

So-so lang for me Myron's, L'Entrecote, and The Goose Station steaks.

^ Never been to Antonio's eh, so wala pa sa list. Planning on going pa lang.

Ang oily kasi ng Mamou, hassle. Pero okay naman.

mga sis, any feedback about Fire Lake Grill in Tagaytay? i just want to know kung sulit ba yung presyo. kasi expensive siya for my pocket, hehe. isa pa lang nababasa kong feedback about Fire Lake Grill.

i dined here before pero matagal na - like 4 years ago.  ok naman sya though medyo pricey sya for the taste.

Where is CRU located?  Parang I want to try tonight.  I tried highlands steakhouse before and it was sooo good.  I dont know now if it is still the same.  The steak at Outback is also nice.  Nakaka miss na mga steak doon. hehhee

^ sa Marriott Hotel sis, sa may Resorts World. Super sarap din ng sidings nila, especially the spinach and yung mushrooms.

Oh thanks for that info sis! medyo malayo lang pala sa akin yung marriot but I have to try the steak at CRU.

I love steaks! Unfortunately hubby isn't a fan so we don't get to eat it often.

I tried House of Wagyu and wasn't really impressed. The meat just wasn't flavorful enough for me.

Surprisingly I liked the steak we had at Chops Chicago Steakhouse. It was flavorful and very very tender! No need for the gravy that came on the side.

Nothing can beat the steaks I had in the US though, no sauce needed either!

^ We had the exact opposite experience with CHOPS. Hmn. Baka hindi lang maganda quality ng meat when we dined there.

^ I seriously love Tivoli's Australian tenderloin. And the staff's impeccable customer service.

Anyway, tried The Farm recently. The soup and pasta were both yum, but the steak had this GASUL aftertaste. Will probably go back, still. Baka unlucky day lang.

I like Outback. Di kasi mahilig si Fiance so we don't get to try. Pag sa mga fusion restaurants lang ako maka-order

My new go-to steak place -- La Cabrera at 6750, Makati. Steaks come with unlimited sides. Excellent value!
