hi mga sis!! Finally got to try House of Wagyu! We went to their branch in Prism Plaza, near MOA.  Super nice ng ambiance!! And in fairness super sarap talaga and aliw kumain dun! hehe went there for our anniv dinner and kame lang tao! and according to them, they might adjust their prices and add combo meals para to attract more customers.  Hopefully matuloy ito para at least pwedeng masmadalas na kumain dun! hehe

for me so-so lang ang cru. i had the super prime rib and quite bland sya. mas salty pa ang sa myron's konti.

^yup got it sis you modified your post. that's nice to know they're thinking of lowering their prices. a meal there could really cost an arm and a leg. but the steak is so worth it.

last weekend we went to subic and we ate at meatplus. the steaks are priced reasonably and though the usda steaks are soft and the portions are big enough, the flavor naman is so bland. obviously the steaks were kept in the freezer for a long time.

oo nga, sis, nag-deteriorate na nga yung meatplus.  we ate there last year and excited pa ko tapos when i got to eat the steak, bland na ng lasa unlike before na ang sarap nya.

Best steak I've tried so far locally is The President at Myron's Place Greenbelt 5. Rib-eye with a crispy crust on the outside while being melt-in-your-mouth tender inside, sprinkled with sea salt. I really want to have it again.

tried house of wagyu last night. we ordered their porterhouse steak grabe yummy talaga siya. usually for steaks, i prefer yung sizzling type kasi pag yung normal way of cooking lang i find them too dry or mabilis tumigas. but wow, super nagustuhan namin their steak. we asked for a gravy nga agad but the waiter said to try it first as it is para ma appreciate namin. went to their MOA branch btw. perfect for dates yung place. romantic set up

new steak house at Katipunan called Brickfire. super affordable steak, only php150 pero sobrang laki na and sarap

^I dunno. I wasn't impressed with Brickfire. Ate there a couple of days ago and the steak was just so-so for its price. For that price range, Everything at Steak pa rin.

thanks for sharing; baka mas okay na rin ang alfredo's kesa conti's coz we really want to have good steaks next weekend, na hindi naman overly priced.

we ate at Cow King at Sct Ybardolaza, QC last night..

i had the Portehouse for Php 315.00 done ala pobre style/ with lots of fried garlic on top. it was served with gravy but ate half of it without the gravy. their porterhouse steak was huge at 500gms. =) it can be shared by 2 persons.. =) it was worth my money & my time.. we had to wait for almost 40mins to be seated because their bigger dining area was closed for a private function.

my other friend had imported rib eye steak with herbed rub for Php 480. her steak was only 130gms but it was good sized steak with veggies on the side. it also came with the gravy but she ate most of it without it. the also serve their steaks with soup & rice with corn bits & shallots on top.
