try tender bob's sa shangri-la. good steaks at a very reasonable price. plus consistent quality ng food nila.

we went to gulliver's at great eastern hotel last nov 12.
prime rib - comes with spinach souffle, creamed corn and bread. i got the gulliver's cut (P780) and my friend got the end cuts (P780). the gulliver's cut was okay, cooked well but there were parts na medyo chewy i think it's the quality of the meat. konti lang naman yun, for the most part, okay naman sya for its price. the end cuts though was a bit chewy - i guess kasi well done sya mostly. ok naman yun taste and the size - not bad for P780.
gulliver's tidbits - Crab rangoon, crispy duck, panko, prawns and calamari fritti - nothing spectacular
Clam Chowder - ok naman daw but filling. not to be combined with the steak if maliit lang ang capacity ng tummy 
Fettuccine Al Pesto with Chicken - ok din naman

their specialty really is their prime rib. but you have to set your expectations right for the price that you'll be paying. don't expect mala-elbert's type of steak here pero pwede na to satisfy your meat craving on a budget.

the place was a bit dark i guess to simulate the old english pub feel. the attendants were pretty attentive - they kept refilling our wine glasses that we didn't quite notice that we finished it quickly.

watched QTV's tara, let's eat last night. it first featured wagyu stone grill in eastwood mall. naglaway ako.
