What's the name of that huge toy store in Ginza? I'd love to bring my daughter there. Sana may mga hello kitty stuffs or sanrio. Kasi para di na kami pumunta ng Puroland. We might not have time na kasi for that. Mas gusto niya kasi ang Disney to see the princesses. Mas ok ba pumunta sa toy store na yun instead of Legoland?

^ sis, halos same time pala tayo punta japan. Around that time din kami, mas maaga lang by a few days, pero april1/2 din ang uwi. Plan namin mainly sa Tokyo and surrounding areas lang. Sa next trip na siguro ang Kyoto/Osaka/etc.. Ayaw kasi namin ng rushed pace, preferred namin yung medyo flexi ang daily sched... Wala pa kami itinerary though, magsastart pa lang ako by end-Feb siguro. Pero nagbabasa na ako sa thread para me idea na din kahit papano..

^PAL, di naman nagbabago fare nila online sis. but check first with travel agencies or PAL ticketing office baka may mura. kami kasi last minute na-book yung tickets online both times we went to japan

kasi kung PAL ka tapos MLA-NARITA yung 2 days mo mapupunta lang sa pagpunta dito at pabalik pinas. gabi na kasi dating ng PAL sa tokyo, tapos maaga ang alis from tokyo to manila.
kaya 5 days na lang matitira sa pamamasyal nyo.

magkatabi lang naman ang kyoto at osaka, pwedeng tig-1 day dun
tapos 3 days sa tokyo.

pero parang bitin to para sa akin :-)

^^bitin sis!!! yung 1 week namin sa osaka-kyoto, tamang tama lang for the sightseeing. if may kasang tokyo pa, i will allot 5 more days =)

^^^ m_lim, through Universal Holidays. It was not really a package since kami namili ng hotels and itinerary namin then they based the rate on our choices. Parang customized package kumbaga. But we were still able to get a lower rate kasi naisama kami sa group bookings nila where the airfare rate is much lower. We figured we still need their service instead of DIY, especially since ayaw na namin ng hassle sa transfers. We're first timers and with a few kids so para di gano nakaka-stress for us. If it were just us adults, ok lang mag-experiment and mawala-wala. But with kids, di pwede. Baka mas ma-stress kami. Hehe! Next time na lang ang DIY!

Hi, sis.. Hakuhinkan Toy Park. I really don't have any idea which is better between that or Legoland. But since Odaiba kayo, nearer ang Legoland.
Almost all souvenir shops have hello kitty stuff naman, matutuwa your daughter.

But Kyoto can be easily navigated naman even with kids gawa ng City Bus nila.

gusto ko sana mapuntahan Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo. 1 week max lang kasi kami pwede mawala sa work

^^ it's doable naman... sample iti will be:

day 1 - ETA Narita (night arrival if PAL, around 2PM if JAL)
day 2 - tokyo city tour (skip na mga temples kasi marami na sa kyoto)
day 3 - mt. fuji (you can join local tours)
day 4 - transfer to kyoto (3-4 hours via shinkansen)
day 5 - kyoto tour
day 6 - transfer to osaka
day 7 - ETD Kansai (Cebu pacific flights are tue-thur-sun, night flight)

Hi! Ask lang po ulit ako. Ok ba for toddler (2 yrs old) itong Mt. Fuji tour itinerary namin - Experience the Hakone Ropeway ride, visit Owakudani Valley and take the Pirate cruise? Saka may mga restrooms ba dun? Hehe! Important info kasi sa'kin ang restrooms since I have a toddler with us. TIA!

^i think ok lang for your toddler. marami rin locals with their babies/toddlers in tow. i did this route with my sister, her hubby and her inlaws (senior). syempre maraming lakarin pero marami rin naman rest stops and souvenir shops with child friendly rest rooms.

need help sana. me masa-suggest kayo apartment rental in central tokyo? preferably Shibuya or Shinjuku area, or somewhere accessible for train/subway/bus commute.

Trip is for late-March/early-April, 12 days total. pero we're looking for a place to stay for six nights lang, since we'll be staying at my brother's house for the other nights. we have a hotel booking na (sa may Shibuya), but we're thinking of renting an apartment instead like what we did in Italy. mas gusto namin yung mala-feel-at-home atmosphere. for two pax lang.

i already checked airbnb, walang available property sa preferred area and budget ko. i sent an inquiry na sa isang property in tripadvisor and another in liveinasia, still waiting for their reply. baka me ma-suggest din kayo, very much welcome. TIA.

Will our Globe sim cards work in Japan? Also the LTE? I've seen some sites kasi that offer phone/sim rental. Recommended ba to avail of those instead of using international roaming?

^ sis, going to tokyo end of this month. I asked my friend there and she said our sims will work there on international roaming naman daw. And unless you'd be calling/texting excessively there, i think there's no need to rent a phone/sim. Medyo mahal din e.

What we're going to do though is we're renting a pocket wifi. Para me internet kami on the go. We figured it'll be helpful esp since DIY tour kami. We can read about the sights from our ipad as we go around. And it'll be helpful din for directions and transpo issues. We got jpy9k for 12 days na rent ng pocket wifi with extra battery.
