anong US visa sis? im not sure lang po. basta po complete docs ata malaki talaga ang chances na maapprove ang visa application nyo. goodluck sis! okay yung agency sa loob ng dusit hotel mabilis lang din. when i applied last year, 2days palang pagtawag ko saknila, lumabas na result ng visa application ko.

ang snow malamig lang naman pag natutunaw na, hindi pagbumabagsak pa lang.kaya we feel cold kase may hanging kasama.

atsaka not all parts may snow kaya ok lang.

thanks smalltimegal for the tips! thanks din to simplykirstine08 & betty. well, we'll prepare the docs na rin para mas madaling panahon ay maka-apply na kami.

we're deciding if we'll go with guarantor or no guarantor. we went to another travel agency (Friendship Tours in Dusit, iba pa to sa Universal), and we were advised that if we're just there for a tour and 1wk lang naman, we should just apply for the regular tourist visa (valid for 2wks ata?) & not the tourist with guarantor (valid for 90days) as we will be required to submit more docs (fr the our Japanese friend & we have to prove our "relationship"). basta easier daw ang short term visa, plus there's no fee sa embassy for this kind of visa, we'll pay only Php1200/head sa processing ng agency.

yeah, we'll be going, autumn pa naman yun, malamig, but with the right clothing, ok naman siguro. parang HK pag January, a little bit cooler. wish pa nga ng panganay ko may snow. naku anak, baka di ko na maipagkasya pa ang clothing budget. sayang ang damit!

you're welcome sis! sa universal ako nagpapaprocess ng visa ko, same with my other relatives na pumupunta sa japan. mas mahal ata dito sa agency na to ang processing kasi we paid for 2k+, not so sure na with the exact amount. correct me if im wrong sis ha, pero alam ko lahat naman yan tourist visa. 15, 30 and 90days, tourist visa lahat yan. sis, yung sa with guarantor, hindi ibig sabihin na kapag may guarantor ka na japanese 90days ang ibibigay sayo na visa. depede pa rin talaga sis sa embassy kung ilang days ang gusto nila ibigay sayo na visa. may kakilala kasi kame na may guarantor sya na japanese, pero 15days lang binigay saknya na visa. pero kung without guarantor naman, mas madalas talaga ata na 15days lang ang binibigay. eto lang yung pagkakaalam ko sis ha, not very sure kasi last year pa yung last na apply ko.

ako im getting the 15 days tourist visa lang. no guarantor na rin. we'll go for 5 days vacation lang kasi in kyoto-osaka. im interested sa friendship tours sa dusit coz its the cheapest agency. ok na 1M savings for 2 no? coz 5 days lang naman? =)

I once visited an exboyfriend who is based in Yokosuka. He's a [textspeak!]/Am soldier. We spent most of my stay sa Tokyo and man, it was crazy. I went around spring time of 2008 pa. Right after my college graduation. The weather is nice, similar here in ATL and super head-turners ang mga teengers. Ex has a bunch of local friends in Tokyo and instead of touring us to the city to go sightseeing, they suggested we should visit every bar/pub that we can, and drink our bladders out! Fun times I didnt have to apply for a visa cause of my citizenship ( US)

^thanks sis =) we have a lil more than 1M savings combined. first time tourist visa sa japan eh hehe. mejo kabado lang. this is a bday gift for me ni BF kasi so i don't wanna ruin it by having our visas denied. although sya sure na ma-approve coz mas US visa sya and is visiting the US every year. so ako lang pala kabado lols!

sis betty, yung picture with the guarantor, alam ko before hinihingian talaga to prove nga the relationship ng sponsor sa applicants. pero yun yung application of visa dun sa japanese embassy pa. not sure lang now kasi once or twice lang ako nahingian ng picture before.

miss ko yung train system nila.sana yung ticketing system magaya natin kase very efficient.

maybe your the only one who is "thinking" that way..... im also just sharing my experience.....and besides wala akong sinulat na nag DISAGREE ako....at wala din akong sinulat na hindi sya nakapunta dun.

Maybe if you would only read what i posted, as in read, siguro maintindihan mo yung mga sinulat ko.

^ Ah ok po.. Wala din ako sinabing, hindi KA naniniwala na nagpunta sya, hehe, sabi ko - personally, i do believe.. Anyway, yun lang yun, share lang tayo experiences natin..

Even sa agencies hindi ka din po pala dumadaan (sorry for assuming na through agencies ang mga applications mo), ang swerte mo talaga sis.. Direct sa Japanese Embassy ka..

If you cannot believe infos you are reading in this thread, you can always try to call an accredited agency para ma-reconfirm mo, on your own.. In your case, yung personal agency mo na nag-aayos ng Japanese Tourist Visa mo (3x na diba) I'm sure they'll be very accomodating answering your queries since "suki" ka na nila.. Or yung RELI Tours na nag-ayos ng visa ko, pwede ka din po tumawag dun, sa page 7 andun po ishinare ko yung mga contact numbers sa diff branches ng office nila.. We don't really know kung ano ang profile mo IRL, pero hindi talaga kasi tayong lahat pwedeng maging pare-pareho ang case (lalo na saming ordinary tourists at FIRST timers) What we share here eh yung base lang sa personal experiences namin.. At 100% sure ako, yan din po ang isasagot ng mga 'accredited agencies' once tumawag ka sa kanila to verify each informations you get here..

Mahirap po kasi kung may palaging magdi-disagree, tapos eh ang basis mo lang eh "yung sarili mo" (paano nga po kung iba ka naman pala sa amin) Marami po kasing nag-babasa dito (lurkers) na naghahanap din ng correct informations.. Baka sa pag-disagree ng iba, na walang updated na basis, eh ma-misinformed sila.. Sayang naman po.. (pero syempre you have the right naman to share your experience and opinions here, hindi ko naman po inaalis yun, pls don't get me wrong ma'am)

both ways, natry ko ng applyan, sa embassy na mahaba ang pila and through agencies. good thing, never pa naman ako nadeny sa 7-8x na apply ko
