ilag taon na kids mo? Usually sini-switch na sa regular fresh milk (not the UHT sa tetra pack) kapag older than 12 months ang kids. My son started drinking fresh milk (alternate with NAN2) since 12 months. Then fresh milk na lang ng 18 months. It works okay naman. Konti lang ang formula milk options dito na regular cow's milk. unlike sa Pinas na sobrang dami. Pero merong goat, rice, at soya milk at meron din sa mga lactose intolerant.

ask ko din sa may mga anak na mga sis natin problem ko kasi yng kids ko ang milk nila is gain plus advance ano ba yng kapareha ng gain plus advance dyan na milk? TIA

depende sa area na pupuntahan mo. Sa Sydney, oo kasi usually matagal ang travel time ng mga tao so parati din sila nagmamadali to catch the train. Sa Melbourne, medyo ganon din pero less stressful from observation. Sa area ko (Geelong, 1 hr from Melbourne) kasi laid back ang buhay at 2 kms away lang from my house ang work ko kaya less stressful, 7 minutes drive family day care ng anak ko at 2 houses away ang childcare centre nya. Pero in terms of work. Hindi naman kasing stressful ng work ko sa Pinas.

Pero sa bahay madami talagang gawaing-bahay especially if you have a kid kasi ndi uso ang nanny dito at househelp na stay-in. But you can always hire a cleaner if you want.

Malinis din talaga ang paligid at maraming open spaces like playgrounds, parks etc. Affordable din ang healthy fruits and veggies kaya no reason to eat junk food.

lalei, nasa australia ka na ba? fast paced ba kayo diyan? dito kasi sa Manila, super fast paced. eh i have psoriasis. gusto ko sana medyo relax lang at malinis ang atmosphere. thanks!

sis Lalei I have 2 kids my youngest is 12 months while my eldest is 32 months both of them use gain plus nag ask na ako sa pdeia ko here sa pinas kung ano ang ipapalit she advise us to use pediasure, wala ako problem sa youngest she eats anything naman kahit palit ng milk inom agad sia unlike sa eldest ko pihikan sa food at pag pinalitan milk nia it takes 2 to 3 days bago sia try mag drink ulit kaya now pediasure na gamit ko para masanay na... thanks si Lalei you been very helpful hope I get to meet you din someday

Sis, anong tawag sa service na to?  Hindi ito yung EMS di ba kasi by air yun and express siya (7 days).  How long did yours take?  I'm having my mom and sis shop for baby stuff as it's so much cheaper back home but the EMS charge is expensive (P350 for the 1st kilo and P150 for subsequent).  Thanks!

Sis Lalei, provincial nominee kayo diba? how does it work? i mean, kelangan ko ba maghanap ng province na may need for a specific position/ industry then mag email ako sa kanila na ganito ang qualifications ko at gusto ko magpa nominate sa kanila?

sis port80* ang alam ko yng sa post office na 3,800/20 kgs is yng surface mail nia or mostly known as seamail but the problem nyan sis ang malalaki na post office ang may service na ganyan ang alam makati post office at cubao ang meron sa makati post office confirm ko na yon na may seamail/surface parcel sila tinawagan ko kng d ka nagmamadali ok na yong seamail it takes 4 to 6 months daw bago dumating pero sabi naman ng iba meron 1 week dumadating agad i guess by chance din

^A ok thanks sis.  Yun ang fear ko nga pag surface mail kasi baka naman nanganak na ako wala pa rin yung mga gamit ni baby   ang tanda ko nga kasi 4-6 months daw yun at walang insurance.  Sobrang mahal pala nung EMS, nakita ko ang print-out ko from before, mali pala yung quinote ko na price sa taas.  P2K siya for the first kilo and almost P400 for succeeding kilos.  Di ko alam kung bakit naisip kong magpadala ng almost 5 boxes of 20 kilos each dati dito hehe, di ko kasi maiwan yung mga gamit ko sa Pinas.  Ngayon eto nakatambak lang lahat sa closet   sayang.

Yes, I got a regional state sponsorship from the state of Victoria. Iba't-iba ang proseso ng sponsorship ng iba't-ibang mga states and it varies din over time. check ka muna sa immigration website at sa website ng bawat state to see kung pwede ka nga nila ma-sponsor. They have a list of skills that they sponsor.

bakit ganun 20kg SAL 3k+ lang sa philpost? sa pag ka compute ko 7k-9k siya eh =(

Nagpapadala kami thru sa friend namin dyan sa philippines yung SAL ng philpost 17 kilos nasa 6,400 lang. He sent it last Wednesday lang. This is the same service na ginagamit namin everytime. Dumadating dito within 2 weeks.

^Sis, yan yung air mail, hindi siya yung EMS.  Nagpa-quote ako sa mom ko a few days' ago.  Yung 15 kilos for air mail (takes 2 weeks) is P5,725 (P1035 for the 1st kilo and P335 for every kilo thereafter) and yung EMS which is express talaga (1 week yata) is P10,248 for 15 kilos.  Ang laki ng itinaas ng rates.

yong 3k+ is seamail yon or surface parcel ang SAL kasi is surface parcel air lifted which takes 2 to 4 weeks 20kgs non is around 6k or almost 7k na din kaka send ko [textspeak!] ng friday

@beautyMom: If you'll be applying for a Graduate Visa, you can nominate an occupation from SOL 2.. But if it'll be for a Skilled Migration Visa, you can use SOL 3..

hi mga sis. im back! grabe hirap pala maging stay at home mom dito sa au. kakaalis [textspeak!] ng mom ko so lahat talaga gawaing bahay ako gumagawa. na-miss ko tong thread na 'to! :p

Enjoy that moment! Don't think much about the household chores if you have a baby. Ang mga gawaing bahay can wait. I must say though na mas mahirap mag-juggle ng time if you're working as well.

oo nga sis lalei. kaya nga papauntahin ko ulit dito c momy pag bumalik ako work. pero im glad na im not working din ngayon na ang dami na natututnan gawin ni Gab. this month alone, natuto sya mag-crawl, mag-sit up, tumayo ng kusa. lumalaki siya in front of my eyes. unlike pag nasa work ako, di ko makikita yung mga first time niya. salamt sis. :p
