mahirap din may sariling bahay noh. naku. lawn mowing, tree prunings, kung may garden pa or pool at ano ano pa...--back breakers!

Kaya ndi ako nangangarap ng malaking bahay at may pool kasi mahirap maglinis! hehe... Pero gusto ko ng may fruit trees at maliit na veggie patch.

Speaking of sariling  bahay, ilang percent ba mga Sis usually ang interest rate pag nag loan sa bank? any tips and suggestions? thanks

^sis si_ako, nagchecheck ako lately ng interest rates nasa around 6.68 to 7% grabe kapag nagcompute ka, twice ng amount that you loan yung total na babayaran mo kasama interest.  Kaya dapat malaki din ma-down or mas malaki yung repayments mo. 
Tapos ang laki pala ng babayaran mo na stamp duty, nasa 20k.  Parang wala din kwenta yung home owner's grant sa laki ng stamp duty na babayaran mo sa government.

Some people I know in Geelong subscribes to Neighbourhood Cable. Ours is still separated Telstra basic landline and TPG for VOIP and DSL. We are paying almost $71 a month for both services.

ay may sinabi ba akong hindi mahirap may sariling bahay? We're renting a house too.

we don't normally mow the lawn nor prune trees. We don't have a tree in the backyard and mowing the lawn is done by a pro since we don't have a lawn mower and not planning to get one.

and we don't have a pool.

everyone goes through that. hehe. exams here are like building an engine. every part counts and most often questions are integrated.

Not my siblings (who still live at home and go to uni) and some people I know who still live at home.

But yes, exams here are pretty tough. But I appreciate it because it makes everyone take their degrees seriously. It's very different from how they do it in the Philippines where it's all about multiple choice and memorisation.

actually i was referring to the exams, every student goes through that stage that they're not able to do certain chores because of their exams/projects. dito, kung memorization lang, eh, intense din. multiple choice questions eh mapapaisip ka talaga.

 i just agreed that its hard to maintain a house. specially if may lawn involved or pool involved...depende sa bahay. basta bahay: maraming gagawin. this was my point. yun lang naman po.

Thanks Sis!  OMG, kaylangan kumayod ng husto=)  kung malaki naman ang downpayment, mahirap din walang enough cash in case of emergency plus pambili pa ng mga gamit sa bahay etc. haizzz...sana magkaron na rin tayo ng sariling property.

I was referring to exams too, and I said not everyone goes through what you are talking about, although majority of uni students do. Majority does not equal to every student.

^Sis, yung naked DSL ba, wired connection yan?  As in magca-cable sila sa house?  We're in a rental kasi and I'm very confused on the kinds of internet available.  What we're using now is the wireless broadband of Virgin, yung may USB dongle type.

^sis port80 wired yung naked dsl via telephone line din. Sa TPG you must have
existing phone line ng telstra, not necessarily na active [textspeak!] subscription mo sa telstra as long as my port sa bahay. Not sure on how they check that.

mga sis,  meron na ba nakapag-sponsor or applied tourist visa for their mom or sister to help care for the baby after giving birth?  Pinagreresearch kasi ako ng hubby ko. 

May nabasa kasi ako dati but I can't remember where.  They provided tips and shared their experiences how they applied and what they provided.
