Anyone here from Brisbane? I'll be working there 2 weeks from now. Every 2 weeks ang uwi ko ng Melbourne.  3-6 months din ako ma-aassign sa Brisbane

My brother just opened a "fairly priced" Baguette   store ala Subway or shawarma in french bread but high end in Little Collins St.. 

He's located inside The Hub Arcade...store name is Bag a Baguette, visit him on your coffee break or lunch break.

hi mga sis, may question lang ako...

do i still need to bring my NBI clearance when going to Oz (on a student visa)? Expired na kasi NBI clearance ko eh, kaya ask ko po, so i would know if i still need to renew it.. TIA..

Yesterday my package just arrived and excitedly pick it up in australia post. The thing is, me butas na side Ng box at dun sa ibabaw nia. Was bit worried kasi bka me nahulog na item or what. Buti na lang me list nakatape dun sa box and wala naman nawala.

Kulang Ng pagkakalagay Ng packing tape sa top side Ng box kaya nabutas. And I notice na mejo manipis din yung box Ng philpost. Maybe one thing din Ng cause pagkabutas is during pag ship sa kanya.

guys kahapon na narelease ang bagong SOL list, check it out sa website, maraming mga natanggal na courses, kaya yung mga nagbabalak na maging student visa [textspeak!] sa australia make sure na kasama ang inyong course don...wala ng mga hairdresser, cook or chef...and age care ay wala na...mga registered nurse nalang...

@si_ako, oo nga e ang layo pero ok lang. Try ko muna.

Not sure kung may junk shop pero kung magdidispose ng malaking furnitures/appliances, once a year alam ko dati may day na pwede kang maglabas ng big furnitures/appliances tapos pick up ng govt/council for disposal. 
Alternatively, pwede mo tawagan yung council sa area nyo pero may bayad.

if you want to dispose some of your furniture, merong day ang iyong community kung kelan ang tapunan nyo ng furniture, makakatanggap ka ng sulat sa iyong mailbox nyan, at kung kelan din magtatapunan ng mga electronic appliances. kung meron kang itatapon na gamit, itabi mo muna at pagdating ng inyong tapunan saka mo lang sya ilalabas.

My university offers Au$6000 max per year to international students, and to be eligible for it you have to have been in the top 5 percent in your previous studies. Course fees for international students for a standard Master's degree amount to about Au$28,000 per year.

^The scholarship depends on the what is offered sa university. My husband is studying Masters in Nursing Science and he doesn't get any allowance. Medyo mahirap makakuha ng living allowance scholarship unless may hardship na pinagdaan while studying bachelor's. But he was able to avail of the Commonwealth Supported place kaya mura lang ang tuition fee nya at dahil citizen na sya ay nakapag-apply din sya ng FEE-HELP or HECS.

another option is to apply for AUSSTUDY sa centrelink kung entitled ka na.
