@ port80 & snow25 - thanks soooo much! At least now nawala worries ko because of your advice and infos. Very helpful.

Btw, share ko, dunno if meron din sa inyo.. Was able to shop branded shoes in Paul's warehouse. Bagong shop dito sa ACT. Halos lahat Ng high end brands andun and super mura. Naloka talaga..it ranges from AUS$20-75. Some of the brands are Cole haan, Kenneth Cole reaction, anne clein, clarks, tommy hilfiger, naturalizer, hush puppies, nine west, Jessica Simpson, Mia kids, nine west kids, Ralph Lauren, and a lot more.

Share ko Lang yung excitement ko about this. Nakabili ako 3 pairs for only $90.

Mga sis specially Melbourne based,

Questions:

1.) Pwede ho ba ako magpakabit ONLINE/INTERNET ng electricity and gas?

2.) May you recommend any electricity and gas provider?

3.) Where can I buy beddings/furniture online?

Thanks ho

Last question na lang. Sorry Kung I sound makulit na but just for my peace of mind. A friend of mine who is an Indonesian just told me earlier that my mom should have remove the tags of the items she sent me. I recall, Hindi tinanggal Ng mom ko yun eh. According to her, they might think I'm going to sell those stuff Baka itax daw kasi me tag nga at Baka ibenta ko [textspeak!] daw. Kaya nalolokaako ngayon..

Pls help naman ulit po. Dito Lang ako nakakapagtanong eh.

Thanks,
Jen

^Sis, they don't open the packages.  X-ray scan lang siguro and security checks.  At saka kahit hindi tinanggal yun, sa mga binanggit mo, I'm sure di naman aabot ng AUD1000 ang value.

Kung andito ka na madali na lang magpakabit online ng gas and electricity.  You may want to check the website of Victoria Electricity and TruEnergy.

With regard to furniture online, wala pa ako na-encounter apart from ebay. Most of the retail furniture shops though have delivery services.

Sis, if there's IKEA in Melbourne, they deliver for a fee.

hello mga sissies,
help naman mga sis..kami po ni hubby plan magmigrate diyan sa australia kasama po 2kids namin(1yr and 4yrs old)..now si hubby magaaply for independent skilled worker...eto po mga questions..
...paano and saan po kami magsstart?
...kailangan pa ba namin pumunta ng embassy? the best move po to inquire and get application form?or print na lang po namin yung nasa website?
...sabi sa site nila pag skilled di dito sa manila ipapass yung mga docs?just in case macomplete pwede kaya namin ipadala sa sister ko nasa australia and siya na magpass sa adelaide?
...how much po kaya minimum and maximum magagastos namin?
...aircraft mechanic po si hubby dito sa pinas, just in case maiaaply pa rin kaya niya ganyan work sa australia?or need pa niya magaral ulit  dun para maqualify?
...eto pa po,natatakot po kasi ako if ano magiging buhay namin diyan just in case palarin if may awa si Lord..baka kasi tumunganga lang kami and aasa na lang sa sister ko nanjan nakapangasawa ng aussie,(mag-1year pa lang siya sa july)okay lang sana kaso kasama namin mga kids namin kaya medyo natatkot lang ano magiging future namin, pero sabi ng sister ko mas matakot daw ako sa nanyayari sa pinas now and sa future, kasi sabi niya diyan daw basta di ka mapili sa work mabubuhay.
...sana po may sumagot and thanks po ng marami.pasensiya na so haba po. ;D

check this site out:  www.immi.gov.au

Thanks port80 and Lalei

^No need for an International Driving Permit, they don't recognize it here actually.  Your Phil. driver's license should be good as long as it's still valid.
