sis! Thanks for the heads-up about the 2 kinds of buses. btw, ano kayang clothing that we should bring/wear? mainit ba at this time o malamig? kailangan pa ba namin magdala ng jacket/sweat shirt? sorry, if it sounds like a lame question.

hi mga Sis, i find it really hard to shop for good formal shoes here. im not used to wearing high heeled pointed shoes, so nasanay ako sa pinas yung makapal ang takong.  i went to myer and they have good semi-boots, yung parang uso satin, but hey grabe, $1000+ for a pair.  pwede kaya magpa-ship na lang ako dito from pinas? anyway, new shoes naman hindi soiled shoes. or any suggestions kung san store dito maraming choices plus ok din? sisses, we're planning to go to oz on the end of july.  pahingi naman po ng mapupuntahan sa sydney and any advice on affordable hotels.  we'll be there for a week, so is it okay to commute lang or rent a car?

^^Sis, try eBay.com.au or eBay.com.  I've bought so many even from the US site.  Yun nga lang di mo maisusukat so I just stick to brands the fit of which I'm familiar with.  I've also asked my mom to send me shoes from Pinas before hehe.  Pina-EMS ko na lang sa Philpost

sis, have you tried sa DFO? Brands like diana ferrari, Tony bianco, wittner, joanna mercier, windsor smith and sandler.  I bought recently kasi din ng formal office shoes,  nakakuha ako ng ankle boots for $34. It was on sale.  Previously nasa $160.  Sa myers, check once in a while, minsan biglang nagsasale sila.  Jan or early feb ata yun, naka-sale na lahat ng shoes.  You'll get a pair for $100 or less.
Lately maraming formal shoes akong nakikita. 
There is a shop as well along bourke between russel and swanston.  I forgot nga lang ng name ng store, pero they have good shoes as well.
Let me know if you need company to look for shoes hehe!

^^thanks Sis port80*, siguro pa express post ko na lang din para makapagpa-ship din ako ng mga clothes from pinas. ang laki kase ng sizes dito=) unless sa kid's section alangan naman.

^Sis snow25, thanks, i've tried dfo rin pero limited ang choices di ko kase makita yung hinahanap ko na tulad sa pinas, pero some stores that you've mentioned di ko pa na-check, save ko sa fone ko name ng stores then check ko this weekend. sana makatapat din ako ng sale=)

sis, san kayo a manila? coz im asking mom about this EMS thing. we're from qc so san yang philpost? (sorry normally kasi sa lbc or dhl kami) and how many days bago mareceive package? and normally how much do they charge? thanks.

^Sis, I'm from Paranaque.  Philpost is the Philippine Post Office sis   Puede yan kahit saang malaking Post Office (wag lang yung parang mga Express kiosks nila sa mga mall ganun).  But if you can drop the box directly to the Post Office near the Domestic Airport, I was told it could save you at least a week kasi dun pina-process lahat ng EMS freight.

When I first came here more than a year ago, I sent tons of my stuff here -- at least 4 20-kg boxes -- we got them from just between 7-10 working days.  I can't open the Philpost links anymore but if I remember correctly, it's P600 for the first kilo and P350 for every succeeding.  There's a limit of 20kg per box but no limit on how many boxes you can send.

^hi Sis, welcome back=) oo nga bilis talaga. mas ok pa etong autumn, mas kinakabahan ako pag malapit na winter hindi ko talaga makaya sobrang lamig. ang sarap ng lumabas, wala ng heatwave plus medyo lamig na.

OMG dito sa Perth sobrang init pa rin!  Exagge the past week over 36 degrees lagi!  Nakakainis na, di makatulog sa sobrang init kahit naka-aircon

Port80, dalaw ka saglit sa Melbourne/Geelong para makapagpa-presko ka naman. The cold temperature is just nice. Hindi pa kasumpa-sumpa.

Baka late ang autumn sa WA kaya 36 degrees pa rin dyan. Ang hirap gumalaw kapag ganyan kainit ng ilang days.

kasi may pinsan ako na gustong magaral dito sa sydney, but he still 16yrs old, diba pede namang sumama ang mama nya den pede rin bang magwork ang mama nya kahit part time?
