Are there more aging population that it needs to service and not enough young people for replacement?

I'm making some comparison about Philippines and Australia in 30 years.

The currency may be high, but if there is not enough jobs, because jobs are being sent to places where labor is cheap, where will you get your income?

As I have heard, Australia economy is going down in 20-30 years, while Philippines is on the way up.

You may end up with kids now wanting to find work in the Philippines.  Are you concerned about this?

Philippines' been a Rich country ( in natural resources and manpower) even 30 years ago...but what happened?  all wasted due to politicking, self interest.   Our manpower?  Exported all around the world.

Australia has the money to import whatever they lack.  True they have a problem with water being an arid land but they have the willpower, resources to adapt to a cruel climate.

Philippines- walang forward vision e, yan ang prublema.  Kung meron lang, dati pa dapat, we should've built infrastructures, hospitals, schools and controlled our population.

population is good. Yan nga ang problema ng australia di ba? kulang ang tao. Mas marami nang matanda na binabayaran ng pension. Balita ko inangat na daw sa age 67 ang retirement age dyan? E sa pinas pareho pa din. Bakit inangat sa 67 years old ang retirement age?

Ang tubig ang basic necessity. According to economists all over the world magkaka problema ang Australia later on. Unang una kulang ang tubig, pangalawa walang renewable energy. Mawawala daw sa advanced economy status at babalik sa 3rd world since oil will be scarce.


Isa pa anong sinasabi mo na maraming politicking e kahit naman saang bansa e pareho pareho lang na ganyan.

ang growth ng australia is only 2% per year, ang growth ng pilipinas is 5-7% a year.

Aware ba kayo na yung mga immigrants dyan e nagbabalikan na sa kani kanilang bansa. hindi talaga lumalaki ang population ng Australia. Yung bilang ng pumapasok e pareho din ng bilang ng lumalabas.

Yup, Australia's been importing manpower and citizens.  Citizens of the world  to date are very willing participants, most to better their lot in life.

These Canada, Australia, Europe, Singapore  and other first world countries get to choose from the best of the world's  willing would be immigrants and OFWs.

Marami rin akong kilalang ayaw na bumalik sa Philippines, bisita lang ang gusto.  ..and usually ang mga 1st generation immigrants ang gusto bumalik sa birth country  but not the 2nd or  3rd generation.

Ok, if you say so babalik Australia sa 3rd world status in the future, its your opinion- no worries :-).

We have climate change all over the world, Australia might dry up like a prune in 30 years.  Philippines might  drown by tidal waves and baha naman....( knock on wood)........Heck Japan might not exist in 30 years!

Philippines will become first world only when we get  a strong willed, incorruptible  leader with vision and action  who can lead us  out of our miserable plight.

 .....and  Population growth is not an indicator that it would be first world eventually.  Example ( albeit an extreme one)- Africa, high pop growth but corrupt leaders exploited by first world countries for their minerals , oil and diamond.

Ganun naman talaga economic growth ng advanced economies, 2% mataas na un e.  kasi advanced na sila.  Mga growing and tiger economies, mas mataas talaga growth..plus...our population might be outstripping our economic growth so.....

^sorry natawa talaga ako sa 1k php a month rent. Meron pa ba? Ang mahal na ng rent sa metro manila and it would be diifficult to find a good place for 1000 pesos a month.

Saan ka galing to say na karamihan ng pinoy hindi umuupa. Baka super rich ka at mostly ng kilala mo may sariling bahay. Marami pa din sa pinas ang walang sariling bahay at nagrerent lang.

Anyway, to gtalkers fr Sydney balak namin ni hubby na magwatch ng fireworks sa sydney. Saan ba yung ok na spot to watch the fireworks sa harbour bridge? Thanks

hindi ako umuupa. bakit dyan ba hindi ka umuupa? syanga pala hindi ako sour graping. medyo concern lang ako sa inyo. Meron kase isa dito na nag i spend ng around 1.5 million a year. Take note that is expenses.
