jamindan is mga 2 hours siguro yun. without traffic yun ha di naman kasi uso traffic sa roxas. baka madami na improvements sa road. matagal na ko nakapunta dun pero ang only thing na natandaan ko is rough road and long travel time..

hmm my mother hails from panitan.. pero not in city proper may signal ng sun sa labas ng house namin.. pero sa loob nakatanggap ako ng text pero choppy yung line. di ko alam sa jamindan sis. parang an hour away pa kasi yan samin...

pwede po bang maki-join? hope i can be considered as a GT from Panay island, though Manila-born ako, my mom's from Sapian, Capiz, she studied in Purisima College then took her BSN from Filamer Christian College Bath '77..my dad naman hails from New Washington, Aklan, sa Aklan State University naman po siya nag-college..

ever since maliit pa kami ng brother ko, twice a year na po yung uwi namin, summer and Christmas, each vacation lasts 3 weeks to 2 months lalo na yung summer break..last 2005 lang ako naka-attend ng fiesta(July) sa bayan ng mom ko, but sadly, never pa naka-experience ng Ati-atihan(January) festival sa Kalibo..this year, nakapunta ako Iloilo to attend my cousin's wedding sa Jaro last July, we stayed sa Sarabia Manor..to all planning to visit Iloilo, I suggest that you go to Smallville..para siyang Eastwood dito sa Manila..kakatuwa kasi para ka pa ring nasa Manila, dami gimikan.. don't forget to try yung Deco's batchoy, yummy-ness po..may CoffeeBreak din doon (parang Starbucks) for all coffee-addicts..

sa Roxas, 30-minute ride lang siya from our place in sapian, if you have a private car..maganda na yung road condition doon, unlike when I was around 9 (i'm already 27), need mo mag-bandana kasi super alikabok at lubak-lubak ng kalsada, para kang may ashfall sa buhok after the trip..nowadays, may taxi na rin sa Roxas, saw 3 Avanza na may colorful paintings sa gilid pang-wow philippines style..

for those who are planning to take their laptops, i do not mean to endorse this but yung Globe tattoo broadband po ang mas mabilis, nagamit ko siya sa Iloilo, Mambusao, Capiz, Roxas and Sapian, mabilis po ang connection kasi nakaka-skype pa ako..

of course, nothing beats the seafood goodies from Capiz..kaya nga Seafood Capital of the Philippines eh..manamis-namis kasi yung mga alimango at hipon..last uwi ko this July nakakain na rin ako ng Diwal (sabi ng mom and dad ko doon lang daw meron noon)..pero talaba talaga ang inuuwi-uwian ko..for 70.00 may kalahating sako ka na ng talaba 

 mayroon rin pong Capiznon sa Maynila Inc. for those who are Manila-based..every October or September, i think, may election of officers dito sa Manila..although parang delinquent member na ako (was not able to attend for 4 years already due to work), it's nice to join this kasi parang networking na rin..you get to rub elbows with the who's-who of Roxas, particularly the Roxas clan, na super down-to-earth..

gusto ko po sana i-post ito ng Binisaya kaso sabi ng mom and dad ko, halong Sapianon at Aklanon yung bisaya na natutunan ko kaya ang sagwa pakinggan, never got to learn Ilonggo
