Mga sis, naka sched na ako for interview on nov 29. Sobrang kinakabahan ako at the same time na eexcite din. Sana ma approve ako kasi gusto ko bisitahin mom ko sa US. Mga sis, na post ko na ito before pero wala akong na receive na reply, yung sa bank statment, ok na ba ang passbook? Thanks mga sis.

^sis, sakin, passport lang din talaga ang dala ko, kase parang nabasa ko dito is mas importante na makita na may regular na pagpasok ng pera sa bangko, yun nga lang, di naman hiningi sa akin, so di ko talaga rin sure kung ok na ang passbook lang.

^^ Yes,ok na passbook, mas malamang nga sis, hindi pa yan tingnan. Although sis,madali lang magpa print-out ng bank statement.
Actually sis, nung kumuha ako ng Visa for the first time, at even sa renewal ko, wala akong dalang passbook. Even sa application ng hubby ko at kids, wala rin kaming dalang passbook kasi walang laman, ha!ha! Pero approved lagi.he!he!

Whew!  I'm done with VRP.  It was relatively hassle-free, except for two things: 1) I had to pay Php200 to an enterprising lady outside the embassy so I can leave my phone and my mom's phone with her during the time we were inside, and 2) I had to throw away a USB (forgot to take it out of my bag) to the trash bin because it is also prohibited inside the premises of the embassy.

My mom and I lined up, checked the VRP checklist and a guy verified our passports and printed confirmation page.  The guy gave us a pink slip to fill out (basically, our names, names of parents and spouse).  We were then told to go inside where once again, we lined up, a lady behind a window verified our passports and we were given a number.  We waited a while outside and then another lady ushered us inside by calling our number.  Inside, we proceeded to another window where a guy asked us about the duration of our previous trips and verified our maiden names.  At this point, all those who assisted us were Filipinos.

Afterwards, we were ushered to another window where an affable Irish-American guy cheerfully gave us instructions for the biometric scanning of our fingerprints.  Easy peasy!  

We were told that if the embassy has any clarificatory question, we will be contacted within 2 days.  But if no contact was made, we can expect delivery of our passport with visa (including the old passports which we also surrendered) within 7 days.

@bucketsale - last nov 1 ako nagpa sched online. Nung time na yun, 3 days na lang yung available for schedule for this month. Nov 4, 28 & 29. tapos sa december medyo marami pang slots.

makikisali na rin dito. I was granted a B1 visa last 2007 and stayed for 3 weeks. now I want to try naman to get a tourist visa. Questions lang po.

1. Do i need to pay first? how to make over the counter payment sa bpi? Ask ko ba sila then they will give me the form? kaso yung bpi branch malapit sa akin, wala ng form eh, sa machine na incode na lang yung acct no. then saka punta sa teller to pay. pano yun di ko alam acct no. nila?

2. i am already married with 3 kids, but i will be travelling alone. do i need pa ba my marriage cert?
3. any idea how much dapat savings sa bank? as per my experience before hindi nman nila tinignan yung bank statement ko but since this time tourist visa ito baka need ko ng magdala?
4. and lastly, madami na ba na aaproved for tourist visa?

Finished Nursing.
Currently taking up pre-requisite subjects for medical school next year.
Currently enrolled in a medical school for the school year 2012-2013 already. (i have receipts, letter of acceptance and registration card with me)
Have been to Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Will tour Taiwan on December 1st week.

Only 1 aunt in US

My intended date of travel is dec 24-31 exactly 8 days.

update ko lang kayo mga sis, na-approved yung B1/B2 visa application ko, just today. very unexpected! kasi yung mga officemates ko na nag-apply before eh denied

^^I agree with sis k_heart. Yung sister ko twice na na-deny kasi nurse siya. Nakapag-tour na rin siya ng Asia and Europe. Meron pa siyang student visa sa UK, bale nagbakasyon siya dito at nag-apply ng tourist visa pero kahit yun hindi enough para bigyan siya ng visa. Yung cousin ko naman family sila na nag-apply ng tourist visa, na-aaproved lahat except siya dahil nga nurse siya. Hindi naman siguro lahat ng nursing grad ay automatic na deny, meron din namang sigurong na-approve, mainit lang siguro sila sa mga nurse.

Getting ready to renew my two older kids' visas & apply for new ones for my two younger ones this coming January. Time to prepare docs & monitor posts again on this very helpful forum. I'm so glad I did VRP last month si I can focus fully on the 4 young ones.

hello mga sis help nman...here's the situation. My friend and I are employed by a U.S. client. Two years na kami and the employer is willing to sponsor us to work in their US office. What kind of visa ba pwedeng applyan for that situation? Saka ano yung requirements? May potential ba na ma-approve? I'm 31 and married with a kid, my friend is 29 and also married with kids. I tried going over the US Embassy website pero ang daming info at di ko ma-categorize yung case namin since we work from home. Kasama na din kami sa file records nung company as in parang regular employee nila except andito kami. Any thoughts? Thanks

mga sis help naman po. mag apply na ko ng US Visa ko. kakabayad ko [textspeak!] kanina sa bank tapos mag fill up na din ko later ng application online. kaya lang hindi ko agad na notice na sa August 2012 na expiration ng passport ko so if ever ma interview ko this december then declare ko n january un plano ng pag alis ko pwede pa kaya un passport ko?
