Kababayans in Japan, can you recommend any affordable but decent hotel or apartment in Tokyo area (below Y120,000 for 15 days)? Minsan kasi maganda sa net tignan pero pangit pala sa actual yung hotel or yung area.

Also, gaano ba kalamig ang December sa Tokyo? Like how many patong of clothes + coat ang kelangan ko isuot?

Hello! I don't live in Tokyo, I am from Kansai area (Osaka) but I think you can find hotels from 6,000¥ (very small) to 30,000¥ (5 star) per night.  In Osaka, Hilton hotel is about 30,000¥+ per night.

Pag Dec malamig na. I use tank top (heateach) then 2 longsleeves then sweats then coat.

Hello! Please make sure you are fluent in nihongo and can read kanji if you want to apply for an office job in Japan. 

Before I got married to my filipino husband who work as a tennis coach in Japan I worked as Merchandise Manager in SM and studied nihongo in NCF.  When I came to Japan, not enough pa rin ang naturo sa school.  Yun conversation in nihongo can only be practiced if you speak the language everyday.  My husband does not study japanese before he went to Japan pero fluent na sha now. Unlike me, I can read and write but conversation wise slow pa rin so I do not work. 

You can try to find Japanese companies who sponsors filipino to work in Japan.

You guys can speak nihonggo?  Even in tourist spots no one speaks english.  You have to use calculator to tell them you want a discount.

For remittances I use my SMBC international atm card. I sent my card to the Philippines and then I use the passbook for deposits. Super bilis lang, once na deposit mo na sa atm machine, you can tell your family to withdraw the money na and super cheap lang ng charge. ¥100 per transaction.
