Cleaning/Sterilization Tips for Bottles/Nipples/Pumps/Toys

kami naman graduate na sa bottle cleansers.. we're using the usual dishwashing liquid.. iba lang ang container for his bottles..

maganda ba ang messy bessy? how much eto sis naku ang gastos na talaga magka anak pati pang linis ng dodo ni baby, sa 2 kids ko joy lang gamit ko hehe pero dahil avent ang bottle at based sa nababasa ko mas mganda daw na hindi antibac gamitin kung rock salt naman kaya di kaya masira ang honeytinted nya?

^i recently used joy antibac for baby, sis. may lasa pa rin or amoy sa tubig that's why i moved to messy bessy. wala talagang lasa or amoy sa bottle. it's gentle too. i've never used rock salt on our avent bottles, mas delikado pag ginamit mo sa cloudy, bpa free avent bottles. Baka matanggal ang mga measurements.

I have tried mess out and midori. But the most effective but cheap bottle cleaner I could find is the one we are using now, Yaya Nana (before Thrifty ata yung name).  It's the dishwashing liquid of the makers of Victoria Herbal Soap.  It's also all natural. Super konti lang nilalagay ko, it can clean a lot of bottles na.  It takes out the smell also.  You can but it in the green/echo stores.  I buy it online kasi cheaper.  My former yayas also liked it better than midori. Eh since no yaya ako now, ako nagwawash ng bottles ng mga anak ko, and I really like it.  I think 1 liter is PHP90-95, depending on where you buy it.

Rata, how do you use it? Yung pigeon kasi mga 8 squirts for about a liter of water. How about yaya nana? Similar, put a few drops in water? Or parang regular dishwashing liquid na you squirt some on the sponge?

If ok ito, i might use it na din for our regular dishwashing.

Lisa - just like regular dishwashing.    Yan din balak ko pag lumipat na kami.  It will also be our dishwashing liquid since mura lang naman sya and you help the environment pa.  Usually isang squirt sa bottle brush can clean 6 bottles na.

We use the foam-type bottle brush from Pigeon. Hindi nakakagasgas and cleans bottles well. Hindi rin siya sirain--we've been using it for 2 months at buong-buo pa yung foam.

I'm using the blue Avent brush. Hinde naman nagagasgas ang PP Avent and Dr Brown's bottles ng baby ko.

For her cups and dishes though, soft sponge ang pinapagamit ko.

Nuby is also available at Babyland Eastwood and Youji & Me in GB 5.

Yung pp bottles prone to gasgas nga so we stopped using the dr briwns bottle brush. Soft sponge na lang but i make sure not to get it in color orange kasi nagkukulay ang sabon. We change sponfes every 2 weeks kahit di pa sira. Bacterua breeding ground kasi yan pag basa.

Ok din yung nipple brush ng pigeon kasi foam.

mukha ngang prone to gasgas ang PP bottles ng avent kaya we opted to buy the PES bottles nalang. I also wonder na din kung anong bottle brush pero may avent na brush na kase ako e, pero parang matigas sya

Ok ba ang ainon brushes? My sister recommended it.But im not sure if its nipple brush would be compatible sa avent teats.
