Cleaning/Sterilization Tips for Bottles/Nipples/Pumps/Toys

hi sis kitikiti, i've done some research and reading on the net cleaning and sterilizing bottles. this is my dilemma too since i'm also going to feed my son bottled EBM when i go back to school kaya gusto ko rin systematically and properly cleaned and strilized yung breast pump and feeding bottles.

tip for drying the clean and sterile feeding bottles and pump parts aside from putting it in a drying rack to air-dry is to place it on a clean paper towel to let it dry.

also after every feed rinse the feeding bottles to remove the milk residue so that it will not leave a foul cheesy odor. bacteria can grow in the bottles easily due to the milk particles,the warmth of the bottle and the dampness inside.

we do this at home.. it also helps to make the washing/cleaning easier kapag rinsed na yung bottles

after every pumping session, i clean all the parts of Medela freestyle using cradle nipple and bottle cleanser then i submerge all the parts in hot boiling water for about 10-15 minutes.

I use Baby Pure natural baby bottle cleaner.  Its 195 for 500ml bottle with pump.  I loooove it.  No smells and residue na naiiwan on baby's bottles.  And super tipid pa, umaabot ng 2 months, minsan lagpas pa.

para iwas spoiled milk sa bote.. try nyo na rinse kaagad ang botttle after each use para lang matanggal ang milk.

ako di gamit ko sa 2 kids noon joy , pero pag napapanisan ng milk ang bottle, i used rock salt then joy.

I use joy antibac, 2 years old na si baby, so far ok naman  At first, we were using pigeon, tapos nag-switch na sa joy antibac, what i do is i dilute it in water para di ganon ka-harsh

what other teat cleaners are you using? matapang kasi nag joy antibac talaga eh... i even scrub it with rock salt after rinsing it pero still ganun padin.

hypoallergenic and non-toxic..
comes in free and clear tsaka yung scented.. i use the free and clear version.

before i used pigeon and cradle ok naman pero now iam using my pedia loves me (much cheaper kase )ok din naman  pag wala akong mabilhan salt water or baking soda and water lang.

^same goes for me too, i rinse the bottle right away after maubos yun milk.

problem ko talaga is naiiwan yun amoy ng joy antibac. pero if i drank from the bottle naman wala naman lasang sabon, amoy lang...
