mga sis ano pa ba kulang, preparing for first hill climb:
MTB
helmet
odometer
cellphone grip
lagayan ng water
head and tail lights
cycling shorts (padded)
gel gloves
cycling shoes

cobb cycling lang ba may saddles na comfortable, any alternatives (for men too)?

san pa nakakabili ng pantali sa car nung bike? sa Rob Gale lang ako nakakita but limited options, 2 lang meron sila.

Got an FB message about this raffle. My husband has been using this cream for running pero good din daw for cyclists. I even used it for my pregnancy rashes, so I highly recommend too.

im planning a trip to cambodia and my friends told me that we will roam around the city in bike. Marunong naman ako magbike. But i think its almost 2 months since last rode one. Sabi nila its something you wont forget.

Im just wondering are there bikes for rent? I remember parang meron sa ccp. Kapag dumadaan akl parang pedicab type na yun bike for rent. Any where i can practice again?

Just started riding my bike for exercise.  We all have mountain bikes but I am still riding my mountain bike on the road and not on the trails yet since the first time we went off road it did not go well for me.
I'm working on building my stamina riding my bike for about 2.6 miles every weekend, planning on doing that everyday so that's about a 20-30 minute ride everyday before work.
I was in pain for a few days and now no pain at all.
I've also learned that it's not just about buying a bike (has to be the right fit)...there are a lot of accessories too. :)

I'm new to mountain biking but when we first got our MTBs, they outfitted one of the bikes with a repair kit just in case something happens to the tires.
Where we are the roads the rocky so they recommended the kit.  I also bought an extra tire pump for my bike.
Plain water wasn't enough the first few times I rode my bike so I bought an electrolyte supplement that I add to my bottled water.
For safety I plan to order a bracelet (RoadID) with my name and in case of emergency contact since I do not bring my cellphone
with me when I ride.    Looks like you have a good list there though :)

Hey sisters! I have a question for the experienced bikers here. Nakakalaki ba ng calf ang biking? Or magiging toned ba sya or mamuscle? Ito kasi yung napapansin ko sa mga bikers and joggers eh. Hindi ba ito nakakaconscious especially if you are a lady?  :)

In my opinion it tones the legs as well as it gives your butt the needed shape. hehe

Thank you for answering sweet_moody!  :)

I was able to ride my bike last Sunday morning all by myself sa highway! Ang saya lang! It was drizzling pa nga hehe. It's an Avalanche GT 2.0 so her name is Ava  ;D Pinaglumaan lang ng kuya ko. Inassemble nya lang tapos kung ano ano ng brand nung ibang parts. I plan to do biking during weekends or kapag rest day ko as a form of excercise na din. Gusto ko din maexperience yung mga trails.

You guys wanna meet up for a ride? Kaya lang sana yung newbie friendly. Got my Storm 2 yesterday and I'm itching to take it for a ride with other bikers. Planning to join Tiklop's UP ride every Thursday evening.

It's price is P8,900 while the Crescent is P7,500. any feedback girls or ano recommend nyo?

Hello! Nakabili ka na ba? Bakit naman daw Eunos ni recommend nila? Newbie ako sa folding bikes at nagbabasa basa muna about it. Nag iisip din ako bumili ng either storm 2 or peerless crescent kasi halos magka price range sila. Hehe. Sana within the month makabili na ako

For entry level folding bikes, you might want to look into Storm II and Mars Kingdom Velocity. These two are among the popular choices based from what I've read from the folding bike group threads.

Sana nga may rides din ang GTers. Pwede tayong sumali sa night rides ng Tiklop or ng UFB. : )

^I bought mine from Hope Cycles along Matalino St. The guys at the store were super nice and helpful. Don't forget to buy your helmet and blinkers when you buy your bike :)

@leelou pag storm 2, baka sa Bike World near LRT gil puyat or dun sa Hope Cycles na nasabi ni gulaysk :) Nakita ko lang both sa sulit. Pag peerless, dun sa Tryon. Pero better talaga if i try daw muna personally kasi iba iba talaga ang definition ng comfy sa bawat tao
