Irritating SAs & Other bad shopping experiences

i have this bad shopping experience. i bought eyeliner kasi sa beauty section sa department store ng sm megamall. my money was 500 bill. so dapat 415 ang change ko. sabi nung cashier "pahingi po ng 15". i gave her. tapos nung lumabas yung resibo, tumingin siya sa taas (yung kapag nag iisip) tapos binigay sa akin was just 400. sabi ko bakit 400? di ba dapat 430 na ang sukli ko kasi humingi siya ng 15pesos. nag isip siya, tinawag niya yung kasama niya kasi mali daw yata yung computer. medyo na-weirduhan ako kasi parang, "ok, mas magaling ka pala sa calculator" LOL!

tapos ayaw niya talaga ibigay. pinagpipilitan niya na 400 na lang kasi "nakuha" na daw yung 15 sa sukli. sinabi nung kasama niya, 430 daw. ayaw pa rin. ayaw talaga ibigay. 400 lang daw talaga kasi kumuha siya ng 15 sa akin so, 400 na lang daw. may pumila na sa likod ko na may kasamang SA, pati yun tinanong niya. lahat na kami nagsasabi sa kanya na 430 nga yung sukli. ayaw pa maniwala. in the end, binigay din niya.

take note: hindi pa siya ang nag sorry. yung kasama pa niya ang nagsorry. sabi ko, "no problem.hehe"

good: SA ng skinfood in sm megamall. fair siya at hindi ganun kadaldal pero nagsasalita naman. alam din niya tinitinda niya.

I hate SAs who think you dont have money just by the way you dress.  I remember kasi parang naka plain shirt lang ako and slacks (left my blazer at the office) and naka flats.  Tapos I went in Adora and it just so happened that may sale sila.  I looked at the stuff on sale first thenwent to look at the other non-sale items. Tapos sabi ng SA, Ma'am hindi naka sale yung mga yan. Tinaasan ko lang sya ng kilay tapos I sai "So?" Parang gusto ko sabihin "Bakit tingin mo di ko kayang bayaran ang hindi naka sale?!" Obviously, she's not familiar with designer stuff...bwisit na yun!

korek ka dyan sis yung para bang sinasabi nila na you can buy only branded items on sale hello majority of the girls kaya laging may budget sa shopping.

SM Makati nung 1 time bibili ako gift for my friend eh payat yun, buy ako sale lang, kuha ako extra small. di ba may tinatanggal dun sa label? sabi sakin bago tinanggal yung label, di daw kasya sakin yun dapat daw large. aysusme.... marunong pa.

Oh this was exasperating!
Went into Toby's at Shangrila to look for a treadmill.
Ngek!  The SA's there -- hindi nila alam the features and differences (what more the pros and cons) of the brands and models. 

Am not gonna buy where people are clueless about what they are peddling... Pati brochure hirap na hirap i- locate saan nila itinabi.

I also hate SAs who when you ask about a product's features or warranty or whatever... does not answer your question but tells you the price. 
I hate it coz hindi ko mapigilan myself from responding this way:  bakit?  mukha ba akong hindi makakabuy ng ganito lang ha?  Where is your manager? I do not want to talk to you. Hindi ka na train to answer a question/ Bakit? may memorized script ka?

^^You're right sis..It's so irritating to speak to SA's who don't even bother to know the features of what they're selling. I just noticed that we have a lot of SA's in the Philippines who are like that. Yung tipong nakatayo lang don just for the sake of having someone man the products.

I went to The Face Shop recently to look for an alternative to my blush (The Black Label in Blooming Peach--this was phased out na). I asked one of the SA's if they have one in a similar shade. Instead of recommending one or even just telling me kung meron o wala, she started pitching their bronzer na super layo naman sa tone na hinahanap ko. Nakakainis lang kase it was such a waste of time waiting for her answer tapos walang kwentang sagot lang makukuha ko ehdi sana ako na lang naghanap mag-isa ko diba. jeez!

eto naman good service: sa forever 21 in all branches pero madalas sa galleria. sobrang attentive ng SAs as in. tumitingin lang ako ng stuff pero sobrang happy nila to help as in kahit anong size, color and style hahanapin nila, with matching recommendations pa. ayan  tuloy, kahit wala akong balak bumili and kahit overpriced sila, i always end up buying something there. hindi na nga ako masyado tumitingin sa mga stores nila kasi nao-overwhelm ako.

same here..kahit wala ako plan bumili..napapabili ako pag sobrang bait ng SA..parang nahihiya akong inaksaya ko oras nila..on the other hand,,kahit gusto kong bumili pag irate naman ang SA,eh nilalayasan ko..o minsan bumibili nadin ako..para mapahiya siya..

agree with the others,,kainis nga yung buntot ng buntot sayo..nakaka conscious..kaya most of the time naalis nalang ako..

um..alam ko may bad experiences nadin ako..pero not that bad..yun tipong asar lang kasi yun ibang SAs nagdadabog kapag ginagalaw mo yun naka-fold..kainis lang..kasi kahit naman hindi ka bumili eh susweldo padin sila..tapos tamad na tamad magtupi!

^^Naku, I always experience buntot ng buntot na SA in any of The Body Shop branches. It's so irritating parang wala silang concept pati ng personal space. Ilang beses na ko may natatarayan sa body shop because of this. I hope their management is made aware how exasperating it is for their customers na meron someone constantly following them like a hungry dog!

Totoo yang sa Body Shop. Lalo sa Rockwell. Anliit liit na nga ng store nila, lalapitan ka tapos di naman magsasalita tititigan ka lang. Parang gusto ko tuloy tanong yung parang gusto din itanong ni sis na pwede ba kita ma-help?

Dati naman shiseido sa gateway...di kami inentertain.as in tinuro lang yan yun hinhanap mo then pumunta doon sa mukhang mayaman na babae...dineadma kami kasi di maayos damit namin.normal na maong lang and shirt...
Sobrang kakainsulto.sinabi ko kukunin ko na! Cash pakidali!

nakakainis nga talaga yong ibang SAs lalo na yong mga bumubuntot na kala mo eh ibubulsa mo yong items. meron din yong ask mo sila about the item tapos di nila lam ang sagot or ang layo ng sagot nila. ako pa naman, talagang sinasabi ko na di yan ang tanong ko or bat di mo lam ang items nyo.

kanina naman, i dealt with customer service na nakakabad trip. i was given a gc for 10% discount on certain categories sa goods nila. i'm sure exclusive of certain items yun (kahit hindi explicitly nakalagay) so i asked the customer service people to give me a detailed list of items na included so i would have a reference when i go shopping. at first they were resistant. then eventually they said OK. i told them i'll get it when after i buy some things. when i went back, wala pa rin and they were still insisting on what they said before, as though self-explanatory yung categories sa gc. so i asked, "how about cosmetics? lahat yun, may 10% discount?" and then they said na loreal and maybelline lang daw. grrr. yun na nga sinasabi ko eh. kaya nga ako humihingi ng list para klaro. kainis.

kanina sa sm megamall watsons EVER BILENA. i was looking for lipstick kasi. nung may nakita na ako sa tester at gusto ko na bilin, eto nangyari

me: nasaan yung ganito niyo?
SA: 150 po yan ma'am! (di ko naman tinatanong)
me: nasaan yung ganito niyo?
SA: kukuha po kayo stock ma'am?
me: meron ba kayo nito?!
SA: wait lang po ma'am


duh! malamang yung bago kukunin ko dahil bibilin ko yun. alangan namang tester ang bilin ko. kainis!

BAD: Landmark, Trinoma.

My sister and I were looking for gowns for our youngest sister's debut. She was having a hard time with hers because she couldn't find a right fit.

She not even fat FAT at all, but she did go through a lot of dresses.

She was also a bit picky with the clothes. the sales lady who was "helping" her out kept rolling her eyes every time my sister asked for a different size.

She kept saying there wasn't any her size, but we then when we ask from the others, they'd say there is.

Anyhoo, I think we heard her complaining to the other sales lady, and I heard her call my sister fat.

WELL, f*** THAT s***.

I quickly pulled my sister out of there and took her to a more expensive section, where they were more accommodating and helpful. I even left the gown I picked from their section.

She eventually found a gown that fits her perfectly. I paid right in front of the unfriendly sales lady.

Nakakainis talaga yung mga sunod ng sunod.
One time, sa sobrang inis ko, ang ginawa ko, talaga umikot lang ako ng umikot sa store (as in lakad.. i didn't look for something). Ayun nakahalata or baka napagod na rin yung SA, tumigil sya. Tapos sabay umalis na rin ako. Pang-asar lang din. LOL!

Sa SM dept stores usually ganyan ang mga SA's super sunod, lalo na sa appliances section... It's plain and simple naman eh, if u need their assistance you will ask for help... naman kasi! minsan kulang na lang magkapalit kami ng face sa sobrang sunod at dikit!

Last time, I was craving for some cupcakes so I go to this shop that sell brownies and cakes.

I was asking the SA what kind of frosting they are using in their cupcakes, she said "umm, mam... frosting po?... basta icing lang po yan eh, nd ko po alam"..

Oh well... I just bake when I get home, for sure alam ko pa kung ano ingredients ng cupcake na kakainin ko.

nakakairita talaga yung mga SA na sunod ng sunod. minsan tuloy hindi ako maka-concentrate sa gusto kong bilhin. kapag may hahawakan akong isang bagay, bigla na lang sisingit na "meron po kaming ibang color nyan maam" o kaya "meron po kaming ibang size nyan." nakakainis lang. minsan hindi ko na lang pinapansin.

sa Ideal Vision SM Bacoor may staff dun na accommodating. i asked kung available yung wayfarers nila and super exagg yung pagkakasabi nya ng "opo maam available po" tapos pinakita pa sakin yung ibang style. hindi rin ako bumili kasi wala yung color na gusto ko. nag-thank you pa rin sya pagkaalis ko with a smile. now that's what you call customer service. =D

when i was in high school, the sales lady accused me of shoplifting! the nerve! and i was wearing my uniform and there were a lot of people staring. what happened was i took out the tiny bottle of eye drops for my contacts, i wanted to use it but changed my mind. i put it back in my pocket and when my friends and i were walking away, she followed us. by the way, we were looking at cosmetics from red earth. this happened in galleria dept store. i was so embarassed!
