Where do you bring your kids to play and have fun?

All this talk about jeepney rides reminds me of the mini-field trip that my children had last month.  The school arranged for them to ride a jeepney na umikot along Katipunan Avenue.  My kids had fun!

Another suggestion is a calesa ride.  Meron nito sa Ilocos (haha, layo) and Tiendesitas.  This is a fun activity for kids too.

One of these days gusto kong isakay sa MRT ang mga anak ko.

I just want to suggest these activities. They might be of interest to you. Sometimes kasi it's not really where we go eh, but what we do. These activies can be done at home lang:

Playdough (I have a recipe if you want to make your own)
Gloop (hand marks with paint)
Finger paint
Colouring
Shell tub (with water or sand)
Bowls/Kitchen utensils/Food colours/Mix colours
Puzzle (big pieces or wooden with handles)
Music/Dance
Junk play (empty bottles, small boxes)
Magazine cut-outs (cellotape/glue on drawing book/different shape scissors)
Paper dolls

Aside from those, I bring my little girl to playgroups, to expose her to other kids. They do action songs and dance and play with lotsa toys. I also enrolled her to do swimming lessons. We go to the parks or playgrounds din - swing, slide, monkey bars. Kahit dalawa lang kami. Duck and bird feeding din pag malapit sa beach. Ayun, occupied na sya masyado.

I think this event was held at Greenbelt 5, not at The Mind Museum (you can see Adora and the Greenbelt 5 exhibit area--familiar steps--in the photos).

About the Mind Museum near BHS, Taguig its going to be next year pa daw according to the museum curator who is part of the Nat Geo Live Curious campaign. But she says its truly worth the wait.

Starting Oct 6  you can take your kids aged 8 and up to Galeon Andalusia at Pier 13, South Harbor, Manila, next to Manila Hotel.
The Galeon Andalucia is a replica of the 17th century Galleon. The 51-meter-long traveling museum created by Spain’s Nao Victoria Foundation makes use of ancient seafaring techniques with very minimal modern technology and virtually no fuel at its disposal.
Admission is free.

The Nat Geo Live Curious exhibit launch was at Greenbelt 5. The curator for the mind museum is one of the ambassadors for the ad campaign hence the Mind Museum photo and they are also partnered with nat Geo . Its still under construction

Maybe you can also bring your kids to the exhibit. Greenbelt 5 then Glorietta and other Ayala malls and BHS

i always take my 6-year-old daughter to dave's funhouse in market! market! to play. that gives me about an hour to roam around the mall by myself. and she really loves it there.

My son wants to go fishing.  Where do we go? Mas maganda if we can bring our catch home or have it cooked there, too.
