Where do you bring your kids to play and have fun?

For older kids (5 years old above), a trip to the National Museum and BSP Museum should be an enriching experience.

Dinala ko last june baby ko sa museong pambata. nice naman educational siya. I am planning another pasyal sa aking baby girl sana yung hindi masyado costly. hehe.

target ko sana mag swimming dito sa malapit lang sa  amin sa bicutan kasi pangit naman kung puro mall ang lakad ng anak ko. hay. suggestion naman jan mga sisters.

when my 3 year old niece was here from canada over the summer, some of the places we took her to were:

- museo pambata
- science and discovery center (although nasa mall, at least hindi ikot lang sa mall)
- enchanted kingdom
- nuvali to feed the fish and for the boat ride
- ocean adventure and zoobic safari

- paradizoo in tagaytay
- avilon zoo in montalban
- manila ocean park

^^ yes, nuvali is in sta rosa, laguna.

it's a big development by ayala - may residential and commercial areas. i think the area that's open pa lang now is part of the commercial area. hindi naman mall kasi puro resturants pa lang ang nandon. there's a big pond or man-made lake yata yon where you can feed the fish. but of course, you have to buy fish food pero cheap lang naman at P15 yata per bag.

then you can take a boat ride don sa big pond na yon. my niece enjoyed feeding the fish but the boat ride, not so much kasi nothing to see din naman.

what we did was go to nuvali first then enchanted kingdom after kasi magkalapit lang naman. my friend naman brought her sons to paradizoo muna in tagaytay then stopped at nuvali on the way back to manila.

Oh, my kids enjoyed feeding the fish and riding a boat at Nuvali.  I recommend it.

For zoos, I recommend Ark Avilon - at least it's in the city and I like the concept that the animals are housed inside an ark (nakaka-relate my kids since they know the story of Noah).  My kids have been to Baluarte Zoo in Ilocos and nag-enjoy din sila.

Lately, I've been taking my kids to different bookstores.  They tell me on weekends that they want to go to the bookstore.   Fully Booked in Bonifacio High Street is child-friendly and has a good selection of books.

Since they've also taken up painting, I plan to take them to Hobbes and Landes at Bonifacio High Street.  I understand there are art activities for children on weekends at the said store.

This weekend, we are planning to go to Tagaytay again and take them for a pony ride.

maybe you can also enroll your kids at Kids Ahoy... they have weekend storytelling and play classes

I also often go to parenting, mommy-baby fairs kasi usually may playground/play area setup

and we go to the mall nga for the Action Fun (?) and Bounce setups when I want to tire him out

we have also recently gone to that area of Luneta near Quirino Grand Stand... aliw kasi it's not so hot anymore and pag mornings and late afternoons, so many families are there flying kites, throwing frisbees and just hanging out (I made my son kick his soccer ball around the field)... it's really nice to just let him enjoy the air and some sun...

before, we'd take him din to Manila Bay kaso naiinggit sya dun sa mga nagsi-swim na bata dun   oh and the park at the back of MOA (we refer to it as MOA Park) is good na din, my son gets to enjoy the exercise thingies there (kasi he's too young pa for the floating balls and bump cars, and too small for bungee fun) as well as the slides/fireman's pole

hindi pa kid anak ko baby palang turning 5 months tomorrow, but here are the places she visited:

Ecopark= relaxing for babies pero super young pa ni baby nito at 2 months palang. Pero hindi siya naging fussy unlike sa Timezone =p

Timezone= kiddy rides she didn't have fun. dad & mom lang, too loud pa sa age niya yung sounds

UP Diliman Campus=super enjoy si baby noong naglalakad kami sa oval and ang dami niya nakakasalubong na babies and kiddos, super smile anak ko

hi mommies, w/c is better to see - avilon zoo in montalban or ark avilon zoo in tiendesitas?

^ Avilon Zoo in Montalban is bigger and more complete siguro but since it's far, we have not been able to visit.  For a quick trip to the zoo, I recommend Ark Avilon.  In less than two hours, you'll be done.  Nagustuhan naman ng kids ko ang Ark Avilon.
