Where do you bring your kids to play and have fun?

my little girl kasi loves watching animals sa tv and loves books with animals too.

^^^OK naman sa Museo Pambata.  May different rooms for history, science, math, etc.  The kids can play with the exhibits, hindi parang usual museum na you can't touch stuff.  I don't know if there's anything else like it here in Manila so I can't compare.  Going there is an experience.

Manila Zoo naman OK din.  Maraming tigers.  You can't get closer like in Zoobic Safari, though.  It's generally clean (pero pag maraming tao makalat kasi ang daming food wrappers, walang disiplina karamihan) pero mabaho sa may monkeys.

@DV, thanks for the feedback about Museo Pambata.  I wanna time nga our visit when they have a storytelling event.  Will go check the website.

^Yea, that would be nice.  Nung pumunta kami walang story-telling but my daughter enjoyed the big piano, yung you can step on and then it will produce sounds (ala the movie Big).  Lots to see too (giant body parts, fire truck, mini marketplace, etc); your boys will enjoy it.

We recently visited Manila Zoo.  Medyo wild pag weekend kasi ang daming tao.  Pero okay na rin kasi we really went there for the elephant (I wanted my baby to see it before it dies; I saw on the news may sakit na ito).  Wala na ngang giraffe e.  Sad.

We also went to Manila zoo early this year.  There was only one elephant left.  There used to be water on the front near the railings (around 25 years ago).  But it was now all dried up.  The animals are not well taken cared of.  The Kinder zoo was nice.  My toddler was able to interact with the animals.

I would like to bring him to Museo Pambata.

@em_cee, there's a storytelling session for kids every Saturday morning at Museo Pambata.  Next month, the theme for the exhibit will be fiesta.  It will definitely be colorful.  I'm planning to take the kids next month.

Nag mla ocean park kami kanina, enjoy naman daughter ko "just like in subic" raw. ang init nga lang, may part kasi na d airconditioned

@em_cee: according to the website, 10 am.  I will call one of these days to check the sked.  Maganda kasi Alitaptap storytellers usually ang in charge.  They're really good.

I would recommend going early in the morning para hindi masyadong mainit.  Pati pag hapon na ang dami nang kalat ng mga tao; there are food wrappers everywhere.

Technically, this place is not in Manila, but it's near there so it may count. 

Great place to take your kids to!  There are lots of interactive activities and a nice big dome planetarium where you can watch science documentaries; the time that we went, we watched Seven Wonders.  Kids can play and learn about science at the same time (see the website for the interactive exhibits)!  The exhibits are working properly (unlike those at Museo Pambata).  Galing galing!

There's an elevator if you want to take your child's stroller with you, so accessibility is not a problem (this is very important for us whenever we take our daughter out).

The place is a good place to hangout at after walking around the mall (it's very hot outside!); nice air-conditioning (you may also want to bring a light jacket for your child if you're watching a show at the planetarium).  The entire center and the restrooms are clean (complete with soap and paper towels) and have interesting trivia about urine posted on the walls). 

Admission: P300/child; P350/adult.  Bring your SMAC; they give discounts until 31 May 2010 (I think).

Very impressed.  Thumbs up!
