My niece's dog have this. Di namin madetermine kung singaw nga or warts. Pero nahihirapan siya kumain.

Mga sis, may nakaexperience na ba nito sa pet nila? Ano kaya pwede igamot? TIA!

normal ba ito sa pug? 'yung pug ko kasi sobra talagang watery masyado 'yung mata niya. sa sobrang watery may sipon siya. i adopted her from a rescue group a year ago ganito na ang condition niya. naawa kasi ako eh. imagine mo kasi kung ikaw may sipon all year round.

^baka may allergy sis, kaya nagiging watery ang eyes with sipon? yung pug ko din laging basa ang mata pero wala naman sipon, kaya siguro laging basa ang mata kasi laging nakadilat yung eyes. parang compensatory mechanism para maiwasan ang dry eyes.

Hi Everyone!

I'm just wondering if you've heard of or seen a dog become paralyzed? Yung doggy kasi sa house ng parents ko who was super lively, malikot and malambing just suddenly became paralyzed. I think she's 6-7 years old (human years). We don't know what happened kasi one day, she came back home from playing outside na nanglalambot na and then ayun. Di na nya magalaw katawan nya. As in nakahiga nalang sya. She can still move her head though. Kaya lang it's super hard for her to eat and drink, kelangan talaga subuan. Nakakaawa talaga... 

I told my mom to bring her to the vet, I'm not sure if she's done it yet. In the mean time, I tried doing research online pero dahil mejo busy, I haven't really found anything. I'm hoping she'll be better na when I visit there this weekend, pero mukhang malabo.

I'm going to get her treated but I heard that even if the heartworms are killed it will still affect her heart because they use arsenic to kill the worms.

Are there any dog owners out there who have had the same problem and their dog is doing ok?

Sis, lucky you na as early as now nadiagnose na positive of heartworm and dog mo. You have to treat it right away habang malakas pa cya, its risky pero some say nagssurvive naman sila or napprolong life nila. Unlike in our case, our lab bronson passedaway this monday. Last week lang namin nalaman na may heartworm sya nung di na cya kumakain and mahina na. So yung treatment di na inadvise kasi it will only make him more weak and pwede mamatay agad. So we tried na palakasin cya but we failed and he gave up na rin.

Yung part na papalakasin sya is magastos na..pag treatment na, mas doble gastos pero ok lang samin pero yun nga unfortunately, di na nya kinaya.

When I adopted my female Lab some 10 years ago she was diagnosed with heartworms too. Madalas nangyayari ito if the dog stays outdoors and prone sa mosquito bites.

What's the diagnosis ng heartworm? Adult na ba worms, madami ba? Pag hindi pa then it's easier to treat. The meds are toxic and the dog has to be kept quiet and conatined in a kennel or room. No RUNNING around, once the meds start working it kills the worms, no running kasi it may bring the dead worms to the heart, this is what actually kills the dog. Kaya nga heartworm tawag sa kanya, they live in the heart of the dog.

For prevention use Heartguard chewables, if diagnosed and treated na, then Heartguard for life na siya. I find tho that inside dogs sa house don't tend to get heartworm as much as outside dogs. A simple, routine test with your vet should tell you naman.

help nman po. my dog is sick, like shes not eating at all. she's a "dalmador" dalmation & labrador. i called her GOLDY. medyo mainit sya na parang nilalagnat. i want to send her na sa vet kaso na sa  work pa ko right now. super sad kasi d ko alam kung ano pedeng ipakain. the problem is wala talaga syang gana.

if she's not eating and drinking, you need to get her hydrated. its hard to force-feed dogs kaya its better to take her to the vet asap para they can put an IV on her.

saan location mo? if you're near manda, vets in practice (vip) is the place to go. they have emergency service. open sila 24/7.

thanks for referral. it happens that my friend is a veterinarian in vip. we schedule my dog for a check up today. but unfortunately, hindi na sya umabot. we loss her. super sad today! i feel sori for not sending her to vet  ng mas maaga. give p naman sya ng boyfriend ko.  super iyak ako this morning. i will miss my goldy.

^ for whatever its worth, ganyan din kami when a dog passes away... iyakan, mugto mata, reminiscing... and hindi natatapos sa isang araw... minsan days, months, years have already passed and we still miss our dogs.

shock absorber ko nga ang mga officemates ko, right now, they symphatize with me sa nangyari.. nalulungkot ako for my relatives, lalo na lola & uncle ko kasi sila talaga ang nagalaga kay goldy. i want to give them another puppy dog, kaso baka matrauma sila. pero still i want to have a new dog, i-heal ko muna ang hearts nila sa pagkawala ni goldy. makakmove on din kami d ba?...but for now, reminiscing & remembering goldy muna....

oh my,  so sad naman to hear that... losing a loved pet is always hard.. and painful...  sige lang, sis,  iiyak mo lang yan.  ilabas mo lahat ng sadness and grief.  natural naman na malungkot tayo kapag iniiwanan tayo ng ating pets...

but dont worry.  all the hurt and pain will go away din.  maghihilom din lahat yan.  i should know. 
ang maganda dyan,  pag naka move on ka na,  all that is left with you would be pleasant memories of you and your pet.  and you will even be more comforted with the thought na nasa heaven na sila... or better yet,  nasa Rainbow Bridge where all our departed pets are waiting for us to be reunited.

hang in there, sis. kaya mo yan.  isipin mo na lang na ayaw din makita ni Goldy na mashado kang matagal na umiiyak.  malulungkot din yun sa heaven pag nakita ka nyang nagmumukmok diba... stay strong, sis...

cant wait to have a new pet. the good news is may aabangan na ko na puppy after 5 months? tama ba? 5 months mag conceive ang mga dogs? this one will be a poddle naman.

^  2 months or approx 63 days magbuntis ang doggies.. tapos,  narerelease ang puppies usually 3-4 months... so more or less,  mga 5 mnths nga ang ipagiintay mo... good luck!  ;-)
