Anong GIFT (material) ang na-appreciate talaga ng mga guys?

Will he appreciate a second message in a bottle kaya? I gave him one on his birthday last year kaso nanakaw nung na-akyat bahay sila a few months after kasi nilagay nya sa magandang box ng alak. Pati yun ninakaw diba? Irita much. His birthday's coming up this April and wala na ako maisip ibigay. So palitan ko na lang kaya yung nawala then lagyan ko ng one red rose sa loob? Hindi na sya letter, isang quote lang sa stationery na handwritten then the red rose. Pwede na kaya?

Another na naisip ko is a watch kasi the watch I also gave him eh kasama dun sa nanakaw. Kairitang magnanakaw yun, ang galing, dalawang bigay ko pa sinama sa ninakaw. Kaso hindi sya pala-suot ng watch and ang ginagamit nya is the pocket watch I also gave him na may engraved message sa loob.

Other than these two, wala na ako maisip. And I only have 3 weeks to think and come up with something special that is personalized.

um, bad idea.. never give your guy the same gift as before, ibahin mo dapat. Ang sakin lang kasi, giving the same gift as before simply reduces the kilig factor - don't get me wrong though, for sure maaapreciate nya pa rin yun syempre pero originality matters din.

Idea ko lang, get him a bracelet or necklace instead, yung mga types na pwede mo ipa-engrave ng pic or name nyo both. But wait, there's more..... to boost the kilig factor for this one is tulad dun sa sinabi ko sa isang post is by how you simply present it - get those scented business card-type papers sa national bookstore then compose your love letter on that THEN use that entire material to wrap the necklace/bracelet...you can throw in a cheesy lines to match with that too.  suggestion ko lang naman...

As for the canvas, pwede din naman provided you got the time to do it. Minsan kasi sa umpisa ka lang sisipagin tapos tatamarin ka na biglang tapusin.

You can also do it the casual way, bilhan mo ng tshirt para sure na magamit nya.  Pag yan nawala pa or nanakaw sa sampayan ewan ko na lang.

a jollibee kiddie party for a guy in his 30's? who would have thought? i'd give you points for originality on that one 

tip lang, dont settle for a single item lang - always try to make atleast two different ones, kumbaga mix it up na lang. Kasi di ba nung bata tayo, everytime we receive something out of the ordinary we feel very happy agad? pano pa pag dinalawa or tinatlo mo yung regalo syempre mas masaya yung pagbibigyan mo. You're doing it for his bday and it only comes once a year so make the most out of it. Kaya nga pansin nyo most of my tips always comes with a letter tapos any other stuff you would like to add na then finishing touches na lang yung presentation/packaging.

Here is the super-duper major secret na mai-share ko when it comes to giving gifts to guys: give something that they would never, ever expect - forget about the kiddie party baka biglang mapikon yun but rather something na out of the ordinary.... for my case, me and my then-gf (now ex) were out on our usual date kasi monthsary namin tapos after ko sya ihatid sa kanila she hugged me then kissed me as what couples usually do before parting ways - tapos while I was in the bus on my way home tinext nya ko and said "check your back pocket" and I did, pagkapa ko I was literally stunned with what I found... she just slipped a pair of her thong as anniv gift for me (nalabhan naman hehe)...till this day i still have it

But this one i am compiling already as our wedding day gift. We both agreed kasi na ang exhange gift namin sa wedding day is something na hindi namin bibilhin. Ilalagay ko lahat sa isang notebook which I will name "How you loved me today". Something like that. Kaya for his 30th wala akong maisip pa.

Dont worry im not suggesting that you do that either kasi it's simply not for everyone din. And like i said, i literally was stunned when she pulled that stunt on me so tlaga unexpected sa part ko.

Then etong May, meron syang napanalunang competition one week before bday nya. So naisip ko bigyan ulit sya ng something for winning dun sa competition at happy birthday ulit. Nagpagawa ako ng digital caricature nya. Kaso sa June ko pa mabibigay kasi andito pa ako abroad. Ok na ba yun?

Ang gusto ni hubby na gift ko daw sa kanya eh yung pillow na may feathers inside sa MUJI at 2 piraso ang gusto nya, may kamahalan. hehe dati comforter at magagandang fitted sheet ang gusto nya. Mahilig kasi sya matulog. :-)

^ sis kung ako sayo don't exert too much effort. una, hindi ka makakapag plan ng gusto mo mabuti kasi nga limitado yung oras nyo. tsaka bago palang naman kayo, parang di worth na maloka ka kakaisip ng gagawin. pano yung mga susunod na special occasion sa inyo? baka maging boring na kasi naubos na mga ideas mo eh. i suggest yung sapat lang para sa occassion, yung magkasama kayo sa time ng birthday nya is malaking bagay na yun kay bf. make quality time pag magkausap kayo (thru internet siyempre). then, luma na and simple but very much effective mapalalake o mapapababae ang pagbibigyan, bilhan mo sya maliit na cake with candle then kung type mo may party hat ka pa tapos bigyan mo sya birthday card. magpapicture ka hawak mga yun cake, b-day card then mag act ka na i blow mo yung candle for him. if you want sa pag open nya ng video, during your video chat time yun ang mabubungaran nya sayo. then read whats your message to him. yun, simple lang yun pero sa amin mga lalake sobrang maaapreciate na namin yun..
