Birthday gift for boyfriend of one month??

Why? Hindi pa kayo matagal, better give him a simple gift. Birthday ba niya? Monthsary niyo ba? Anong okasyon?

Honestly, mas naa-appreciate ko kung nagbibigay saken ang gerlpren ko ng walang okasyon, kahit ano pa 'yun. That goes to show kahit papaano, naaalala niya ako.

One month - isang polo sa Uniqlo na 590pesos - tapos (make sure na tama sa size niya ha? Huwag masikip unless mala-Ryan Gosling katawan niya, huwag din naman sobrang luwag na parang Andrew E na polo kakalabasan).

Pag umarte boypren mo, sampalin mo agad. Sus, siya na nga binigyan eh. =P

^^ Yes I am planning on giving him something simple lang. Pero mas mahirap kasing mag-isip ng ibibigay na gift at this stage of a relationship kesa pag matagal na kayo e. Baka kasi too much pala yung binigay then mag freak out siya haha. Or too simple and he'll think that I didn't put much thought into the gift.

As a guy here's an idea, it may be old school or cheesy but trust me your SO will definitely love it...

Write a long letter to him/her (handwritten so it would be more authentic and sincere) and slip it into their bag or back pocket before you part ways sa date nyo on valentines day. Just write down all the nice things you appreciate about him/her tapos make it a bit detailed, mga tipong 5 pages back to back tapos bahala na kayo magdagdag - as much as possible don't put any sexual details in it (precaution in case it falls into the wrong hands), just those romantic things and positive stuff about the person. Make it quirky by making it look like a checklist tulad ng top 50 things i like about you or make it mala-MMK na may storytelling bordering on romcom format, its up to you, really.

Small things like this means a lot to us guys and believe it or not, it can make us cry too... vday is drawing close, better get started soon.

I remember the first time I did this umiyak sya. nagulat nga ako eh! And then every monthsary he would expect a letter from me na. Wala na nga ako maisulat lol minsan nagkwekwento nalang pero just the same happy pa rin sya. Now we're married nahihiya ako kasi he has this habit of reading it aloud in front of me with halong excitement. Parang blues clues. I got a letter! I got a letter! Sabay basa. And I get a kiss after. PBB teens lang ang peg.

girls, kung kulang oras nyo to do any DIY for your guys here are a couple of suggestions off the top of my head (or baka alam nyo na rin mga to hehe):

- compose a very endearing text message to him tapos save nyo lang muna sa drafts nyo then send it to him when the clock strikes midnight of vday. 

- Buy a cupcake then topped with a single candle. Have him close his eyes para ma-suprise sya bago nyo gawin to and for maximum effect, do it in public. Don't worry kung medyo nakakahiya, it's valentines day naman eh, everyone gets a free pass to be cheesy on that day. 

- Compose a poem. No matter how wrong it sounds for sure your boy's gonna love it...for the effort. 

- cook for him. And to make sure that he does appreciate the gesture, hold a fork on your hand na parang aambangan mo ng saksak while giving him a sinister look sabay sambit "masarap luto ko di ba?" 

- buy him a stuff toy. I know old school to pero we guys always appreciate tangible things.

...and my personal favorite, discreetly put in his pocket a pair of your undies. Your man should know that something is about to go down.

Sinipag ako with a very easy diy v-day gift. I bought a small quilted mason jar then I filled it with crystals from bracelets that were given to me which I do not use and small butterfly thingies for scrap booking. Then I made heart cut outs from a stationery then wrote on each of those hearts one of the top ten reasons why I love him and put it inside the jar with the crystals and butterflies. Since may blank label sa harap yung mason jar, I wrote on it "Top Ten Reasons Why I Love You". I want it personalized just like the message in a bottle I gave him for his birthday last year. Natatamad ako mag-isip and bumili ng material gift ngayon eh. Hope bumenta ulit sa kanya and kiligin ulit.
