Anong GIFT (material) ang na-appreciate talaga ng mga guys?

I tried to search "gift for him ideas" on Pinterest since it's my bf's birthday on January. I noticed that he really wanted to buy Sperry Top-sider shoes but since he's still paying for his car, he can't afford to add more expenses. I also can't afford buying Sperry at the mall because it's too pricey. I found Sperry factory overruns at IG and it's more affordable compared to the mall price. I'll just try to be creative like putting pick up phrases on the inner lid of the shoe box like "I love you every STEP of the way"

Shirt- pwede din, pero usual na samin magbigayan ng shirt especially pag nag-out-of-town yung isa samin. Ano kayang special na maganda or brand na mahilig yung guys?
Sneakers - natuwa siya dito. Kaya lang pag shirt or shoes epic fail ako sa size. We always had to come back to the store for exchange.

Wallet kaya this time? Bihira bumili ng new wallet ang guys diba? mahilig yun sa something useful. Pag car accessories wala naman akong alam kung ano need nya ngayon.

A common scenario:

Girls have more than 10 shoes/sandals/flip flops/footwear - priced at less than 3,000pesos each (or maybe lower)

Guys have 2-4 pairs of shoes including a pair of rubber shoes that cost anywhere from 5k-12k pesos.

So better get him one gift that he'll really like, as in one that'll make him smile.

If let's say he's into shirts, don't give him two or three pieces from Uniqlo, get him a Ralph Lauren or Tommy Hilfiger tee.

You get the drift. =)

I'd rather give my guy one major gift. Not necessarily more expensive but more pinaghandaan and pinag isipan.

If your guy is a baller and you know his shoe type, go with him sa Nike or Adidas and tell him that your best friend is planning to give a pair of shoes to the boyfriend. If he suspects, shout at him in a nang-aasar manner and say, "Hoy! KAPAL ng mukha mo, bakit kita ibibile?" (assuming you're a good actress). Then ask him what he'd pick, yung colorway, yung style, low, mid or high-cut ba.

If he's into formal wear, marami magaganda sa Sperry, Aldo, or Call it Spring.

Guys won't take long to buy stuff, we know what we want and we don't buy a lot of them. Kaya importante na sobrang special nung one big gift mo sa amen.

P.S. Yes, I want Kevin Durant shoes for Christmas.

I saw a post on Facebook before. The boyfriend likes video games, but the girl bought him a "The Notebook" DVD with a Post-It stating how excited she is to watch it with him.

But when the guy opened the case, it revealed a Medal of Honor/Call of Duty DVD inside, then with a Post-It saying something like, "Kidding. Happy birthday, sweetheart. Beer's in the fridge." Parang ganun. Nice prank, if you ask me.

LOL. I was also having the same dilemma since my bf's birthday is also on Jan.12!
My plan is to give him the expensive gift (sperry) on his birthday. On Christmas, maybe a simple shirt and a card.

Yung "material" gift na gusto ko ay yung bagay na "gustong gusto" ko pero hindi ko naman "sobra" kailangan kaya hindi ko bibilhin kahit may pambili dahil wala naman sa list or nasa bottom na ng priority. Super surprised ito at ang saya sa feeling, kasi nga, parang nagkaroon ka ng something na gustong gusto mo pero alam mong hindi mo mabibili out of your own.

Hi mga sis! Anong brand ng belt ang ok for men? Leather ang bibilin ko para pang office ni hubby. Wala na kasi ako maisip saka mahirap sya bilihan kasi magkaiba taste namin sa gamit. Nabanggit nya na more than 4yrs na yung belt nya eh. Buo pa naman pero para lang kapalitan yung belt nya now.
