Changes to GIRLTalk Board Organization

To keep the threads organized and easy to browse, we will be restructuring the GIRLTalk forums. All the boards will be arranged within 12 main categories:

• GIRLTalk Announcements
• GIRLTalkers' Community
• News & Features
• Fashion & Beauty
• Sex & Relationships
• Celebrities
• Health & Wellness
• Food & Home
• Family & Parenting
• Work & Money
• Travel & Leisure
• ShopCrazy

The reorganization will be done gradually so as not to disrupt the normal flow of activities within GIRLTalk. If some boards you are used to interacting on are no longer where they used to be, kindly use the search function or browse in the appropriate categories to locate them.

We also acknowledge that because of the overlap of topics, some similar threads may be posted in separate categories. In such cases, board participants may recommend that such boards be merged by administration, by means of the "report to moderator" link or via PM. However, merging of the topics will be done at the discretion of the Administrators. Also in the above cases, we request that members add links to the other relevant threads within the discussion.

The reason it seems like there are redundant boards is because the old boards have been left in place (with redirection notices) for a few weeks to allow members who are used to visiting them to find the new threads.

We hope you get used to the newly organized boards soon enough. If you can't find a particular thread, you can use the search function to find it and related topics.

^there are not much redirection notices. even in workplace tales & financial fitness, there are threads there that can be moved to savings and investment but no one has done it yet.

if the old boards are already working, why the need to create new boards? example, jobseeker board is already okay. so why create a hiring center? hindi ba yung hiring center ang redundant and not the jobseeker board?

I could not access Travel and Leisure when I am in Girltalk root.  When I click it, it redirects me again in the Girltalk page.  I have to use the search function first for the Travel and Leisure page to display.

Try clicking on the boards instead of the whole category link... the threads are housed in the Out and About, Leisurely Pursuits, etc. boards.

how about the problem in posting? this banner ads really sucks! everytime i will click the "Reply" or any the cursor keeps on going up and down due to the banner ads. i've been complaining this for a long time. masakit sa mata at sa ulo, kaya minsan nakakatamad na magpost at magbasa dito sa girltalk. anyone else experiencing this? dito ko lang sa girltalk naeexperience to but from other sites like entrep, multiply, etc. hindi naman.

is there any command to erradicate this? thanks and i hope you act on this the soonest possible.
