I avoided one three years ago. Then when I found out he died recently, I felt bad and apologized in my prayer for him too.

hindi na matatawag na friend if you will avoid them. ok there are times na we need space sa friends lalo na at may issues and then we have to cool it down muna para hindi lumaki at kung hindi na mainit ang sitwasyon pwede na pag usapan.

i did this. not just to a friend but to someone i considered my best friend/sister since high school. madalas pa kami mapagkamalang magkapatid. she would accuse me (and her other friends) na nababalewala siya kapag may bf ako before. she even said "hindi ka naman kagandahan bakit madami kang manliligaw" last straw was nung kinasal ako siya dapat maid of honor. then bigla nung time na for fitting umatras siya. buti nalang nahabol ko pa yung sa invitation kasi kung naprint na yung part na yun yari talaga. she never heard from from me anymore after that. then minsan nagkita kami sa Makati. natulala siya and i avoided her. that same day she texted me saying sorry for everything she did. na pwede ba namin ilagay na sa past yung mga nangyari and start our friendship again. nakikita niya sa fb thru our common friends yung pictures ng daughter ko and she said she really wanted to meet my daughter and sayang kasi sana ninang daw siya. hindi siya type ng husband ko to be our friend. and turns out hindi pa din siya nagbabago. we still have communication from time to time pero i distanced myself na. kilala siya ng family ko specially my grandmother and ako din kilala ng family niya. both families never really understood what happened kasi alam nila na sobrang close kami kaya nung kasal ko they were asking asan na siya. and kapag nakakasalubong ko family niya minsan sa mall ganon pa din sila towards me. pero ako na yung dumidistansya..

pag mga ganyang friend naman, na pati up to the wedding and para magsabi ng sobrang harsh na bagay, i'd rather avoid them. siguro inggit lang sila kaya ganun. pero yung tulad nung kay sis seven82, sobra siyang nagmamaganda at nagpapaimportante nung wedding. kaloka! if those people keep you down then you should severe ties with them and fly away na.

For me it is right lalo na kung may nagawang kasalanan un friend mo sayo. Wag yun marami dahilan etc. Tapos makikita mo sa facebook panay tour yan ba yun walang pambayad hehe

naku sis, gantong ganto ako now. akala ko superfriends kami hanggang nakilala ko sya kung ano tlg sya sa utang nya. ok lang sana kaso nahuli ko pa sya na nagsisinungaling sa akin. now she is avoiding me na rin. d nagrereply kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko never ko na to kakausapin. kung ano anong dahilan kaya di makabayad pero ang luho e. kaya nakakainis na rin. walang respeto, kasi alam [textspeak!] nya may family ako at need ng pera. sana maisip nya yun pero meron siguro tlgng mga taong ganun. matibay pag sa utang in short makapal na mukha

Better to ditch these kind of people than just let them continue to ruin your life or your mood. If he/she has done something or A LOT OF THINGS to actually deserve being ditched, and youve tried working it out, but still failed.. then i say its worth it.. Its your life thats being affected anyway :p

I ditch people who stress me. Mahirap na nga ang buhay dadagdag pa sila. I surround myself with happy people who influence me positively.

i relate a little. i have this friend na feeling ko at times e parang nasa contest kami. like there was a time na i was watching a series and told her to start watching it na din. i stopped watching the show for a while and then she told me she started watching na daw. when we met after a time, she asked me anong ep na ako. so i told her i stopped pero nasa ep 9 or something na ako..she then said, "tara babe, watch na tayo para di tayo maunahan ni klimts"

and then when they got engaged, they decided to have their civil wedding day before me and my husband's wedding. ok fine, siningit nila yung civil wedding nila kasi overseas couple sila. pero a day before my own wedding? oh well..

and now, she's pregnant and super proud na una sya. i admit, i am inggit cus i personally feel like it's gonna be hard for me to get pregnant cus im almost 36 years old. pero she does not have to rub it on my face. she messages me all these things about being pregnant.

my husband keeps telling me to have more patience towards her. i don't want to drop her as my friend cus i genuinely like and love her and we're like family na talaga.  i just ignore when she makes papansin and i make sure i don't get affected ng sobra cus if i get more stressed, baka di na talaga ako mabuntis.

I agree sa sinabi ng ibang sis dito na we can choose our friends so why associate ourselves with people (na hindi kamag-anak) who will just make our lives miserable? Friend bang matatawag ang mga ganung tao?..

Ako, I have experienced dumistansya (but still civil) to "friends". Yung isa, yung tipong maaalala ka lang kapag mangungutang o kaya may hihinging favor. Tapos kapag nakuha na yung favor, di na uli nagpaparamdam.

Yung isa naman is co-worker ko pa. we used to be close pero ako na dumistansya kasi di ko gusto way ng pakiki-deal nya with others.

I've let go of some friends coz i feel i can't relate to them anymore. This happened with most friends i made in school. I think natural lang naman na as we grow older, we change the support group we need. Mas stressful pag pilitin natin sarili natin to keep in touch with people we don't really like.

Now I really did avoid this "friend" officially since he's actually being a nuisance. Good thing he's outta my system.

Yes, I will avoid, unfollow, unfriend them if they are too sensitive and too insensitive.  Ayoko ng mga taong life revolving sa social media pag kasama mo, ayoko ng mga taong na misunderstood ka without even asking kung bakit ganun, kakapikon ang mga taong biglang ka na lang hindi kakausapin, may mga moods. well, I don't have time for them, better stay away from life!! ;)

true! yung tipong instead na mapabuti yung buhay mo, napapasama pa.. and mahirap din  if yung kasama mo negative vibes and always too emotional or oa.

Feeling ko, part to ng growing up and "loving yourself".

If they give you more grief than anything else, then there's no reason to keep them around.

i have a friend, actually kumare but hindi ako nakapunta nung binyag ng daughter niya. ayaw na ayaw siya ng husband ko. nakilala ko siya sa dati kong work, mas bata siya sa akin and may history siya ng pagiging pasaway. malakas uminom, medyo mabilis pumatol sa guys, mahilig siya magpasexy tapos ipopost niya sa fb with caption na "pang FHM". pati inuman nila ng sisters niya na naka spaghetti at short shorts pinopost din niya. nagkaproblema siya sa mom niya kaya kami naging close. parang naging "ate" niya ako. from time to time umuutang siya sa akin. then nung hindi na kami magkasama sa work, nabuntis siya. masama hindi naman niya mahal yung guy and even said na "hindi niya ganon katype kasi hindi gwapo" wala siyang balak magpacheck up but hindi naman niya naisip na ipalaglag yung anak niya. sinamahan ko siya magpacheck up and magpa ultrasound. nagtatalo kami ng husband ko kasi bakit ko daw pinagtsatsagaan e ayaw naman magbago. then nanganak siya, kinuha niya akong ninang. sumama loob niya sa akin kasi nung sinabi niya na hihiram siya ng pera kasi pabibinyagan niya yung anak niya at maghahanda siya, i declined. then nasundan ulit na hihiram siya ng pera para magouting, i declined ulit. wala na kaming communication simula nun and nakikita ko nalang sa fb from time to time mga kalokohan na pinagagawa niya sa anak niya. like pinapayakap sa emperador, tinuturuan sumayaw ng kung ano ano, nagiinuman sila na kasama yung anak niya (na wala pang 2 years old), sinama niya sa tattoo session tapos pinahawak niya sa anak niya yung parang gun na pang tattoo. and yung pinaka latest e nagpose siya na may baril na nakatutok sa ulo niya while kasama niya yung anak niya. i wish na maging maayos siya para sa anak niya. for now, i am avoiding her.

^hahaha pasaway talaga sis. she always complain na mom niya sugarol. father nila kasi seaman. yung padala ng father nila ipinangsusugal lang daw ng mom nila. akala ko naman since alam niya na may problema sila sa mom niya e bilang panganay she would learn from her mom's mistakes. e kaso eto siya ngayon. kinilala naman nung guy na nakabuntis sa kanya yung baby nila. in fact e mga luho dinadaan sa baby para magbigay yung guy. like nag first birthday yung anak nila ang gusto daw gift nung bata e tablet hehe  ;D pumunta yung isang common friend namin and nung kinukwento niya anong nangyari doon sa birthday party e siya yung naiinis haha
