I've avoided friends na rin in the past and i dont regret it. Except siguro yong oras na na-waste ko by being their friend tapos wala ring patutunguhan.

It's supposed to be a two-way relationship. Pero kung take na lang ng take, avoid her na. Dont make the mistake of thinking na mababawi mo pa whatever she owes you. Save yourself.  ;D

siguro tama kung nakikita mong bad influence sya sa buhay mo pero kung sama ng loob kasi sobrang abuso na sya or di na tama yung mga ginagawa nya its better to talk to her first then give space. nasa kanya na kung gagawa sya ng moves to reconcile and to change pero kung di naman well di ko sya kawalan and I have learned my lesson.

as for me, yes you can avoid your so called "friend"..

first of all, hindi mo naman matatawag na "friendship" yung relationship if one way lang..and you can never call a person "a friend" kung wala naman siyang magawang mabuti sayo..

my friends are all precious, they're really like Gem, as what one of our sis said, it'll be really hard if you will break up with one..ang hirap nun, im super affected pag me isa akong friend na nakatampuhan...for me, talaga you have to know your friends, don't call them "friend" if they're not...madali lang naman malaman yun eh di ba...kung mga galaw na pautang utang na hindi naman talaga importante yung paggagamitan eh, sus naman alam na yung mga galaw na yan...tapos yung hiram na gamit na hindi marunong mag alaga, eh hindi kaibigan tawag sa mga yan, mang gagamit lang...easy, she's not you're friend, that's the bottom line...

you have the right to choose who your friends are....if you're irritated with a 'friend', make plastic na lang but be cautious esp may past na gingawang mali

Kaso I don't want her to be my friend anymore. Harsh but honest.

well...as you grow older, you count your age not by years but by the friends you will meet along the way and you will be more wiser to know who you shall keep. and friends like that are not one of them and not worth to keep... better off alone sis.

Feeling know it all. Kumare ko pa man din siya, bigla na lang siya nagbago and I hate it!

^this "friend" am talking about is imitating my looks and style. She would even buy items which are exactly the same as what I have. Name it, as in everything ginagaya nya sakin. From toiletries, clothes, bags, my fashion, even the way I talk. Those were just physical foul and no big deal about it. What irritates me were the ways she treated me.

Kainis nga yan. walang sariling identity. Just tell her, get a life!

Toxic friends should be avoided for one's peace of mind and happiness.  Choose friends who make you happy and do not require too much work.

there's nothing wrong if you avoid a "friend", the kind that I call emotional vampires. kung wala naman magandang dulot eh di iwasan na lang. of course you don't have to ignore that person totally lalo na pag may konting pinagsamahan kayo or you move within the same circle, pero let that person know that things will never be the same again.

Marami siyang foul na nagawa sakin when we were still room mates. Countless and I don't want to elaborate further. Lalong foul nung wedding day ko, parang hindi nya pinahalagahan. I want to avoid her, I don't want to communicate with her anymore and totally forget about our "friendship" (kung itinuring nya nga akong real friend). I treated her as my sister, as her confidante esp. when she needs me.

Is avoiding her suits her right? I don't want to do that , really. But I don't want to surround myself with people like her.

sa palagay ko tama lang ang ginawa mo. kung di mo siya makausap ng maayos or siya yung tipong hindi magiging serious pag nagsabi ka ng disappointments, i pack up mo na yan sabi nga ni mr. fu. gawain ko yan eh. sometimes, you really have to let go kung naooffend ninyo lang ang isa't isa

The friend that I am referring to, we are ok now. Actually she borrowed cash from me and I even refer  a househelp for her. Kinalimutan ko na lang lahat ng nangyari, I just moved on and since kasama yan sa New Year’s resolution ko, I have to face things and other people with so much positivity.

if she was ever really your friend, dont avoid her without confronting her... she would only think it's your fault for keeping things from her... tell her what she's done, that you 'hated' or disliked what happened and tell her youre ending your friendship...

avoiding her is just giving yourself time to forgive her... you have to really ask, do you want her back in your life when youve forgotten what she's done to you?... :-\

I'm not the type na bigla na lang nangde-deadma ng friend kahit pa may nagawang kasalanan. Siguro kung paulit-ulit yung mga 'foul' na ginagawa nya, that's the perfect time to cross her name out of my friends list.
