Hubby got me a Mitsubishi Lancer 94 model na matic yesterday. Nahihirapan na kase ko mag-commute after he sold my nissan sentra The car is super nice and I tried driving it na yesterday. Ok lang kahit lower model kase may car din naman si hubby. Hayy super happy ako

magkano kuha mo sis? ang gusto kc ni hubby either honda o toyota.. ok na sa kanya un 1997 up na model since hindi naman ganun kalaki un budget,, gusto pa nya automatic.. may mga nakikita kme sa site pero hindi naman sumasagot un mga seller.. kakaasar lang.. nag try na rin ako search sa mga bank, since before i work in a bank at asset management dept. din ako.. medyo mataas pa rin kc presyo nila.. hayyyy..

^100 lang sis kase up for registration na sya next month pero sobrang good buy kase top condition sya. Ang flaws lang is faded na yugn paint nung door handles pero keri lang yon.

Maganda ang Honda, mataas ang resale value and syempre iba ang feel ng Honda cars. How much ang budget mo if you dont mind me asking?

Yung mga hinde sumasagot na sellers most likely nabenta na yon sis. Kase hubby ko nagba-buy and sell yan ng cars on the side. Pero in fairness naman sa kanya pag nabebenta na nya yung unit sinasabe naman nya kase alam nya ang feeling ng nae-excite tapos biglang hinde sasagot pala.

If you have to buy a "used car", always hire a trusted mechanic to help you out. Don't trust your eyes that much.

A used car is a used car is a used car. The kind of repairs are usually replacement of old and wornout parts, and the repair cost isn't cheap.

I hope you have canvassed a lot. Prices could already tell a hidden story, beyond the excuse that the former owner would tell you. Below the market price could mean that there could be something seriously wrong with the car.

If you're buying an automatic car, you need to do a farther drive test to check if the switching of gears is timely. Transmission usually ang trickiest part sa automatic cars.

I drive an automatic car and I prefer it than manual since it's easier pag traffic. There's the risk na masiraan and hinde talaga aandar yan unlike a manual car but that's why it also needs to be more well-maintained. Gas consumption-wise, my car has a 1.6l engine and ang gas ko for 5 days of work from our place sa marcos highway antipolo to my office sa the fort ranges from 1k-1.3k depends on what shift I'm taking (mas malakas pag rush hour kase malakas sa gas pag stop-go sa heavy traffic). So in choosing between an automatic vs a manual car, you need to keep in mind the following things:

1. condition of the engine
2. where you will be using it (for everyday drive to work ba or weekends lang etc)
3. your comfort and convenience
4. cost of maintenance (which will depend on the engine's condition plus year model of the vehicle)

someone i dont know is buying my car.   ang usapan i will pay the notarial fees of deed of sale - you have idea how much ito?   and usually ba sino ang nagsho-shoulder nito?

second question - ok lang ba if i sign the Deed of Sale tapos Buyer na bahala mag pa-notarize?  it this safe? 

ang plan is - we will meet for me to give the OR/CR, signed Deed of Sale, keys, and the car.  then sya naman, manager's check daw.   tapos sya na ang mag pa notarize ng Deed of Sale, and mag asikaso ng transfer.

may nakagawa na nito?  safe kaya ang manager's check lang?

^ sis, i dont know the process of buying a used car... But with the managers check, be sure to verify with the issuing bank if its authentic. Kasi pati managers check ngayon nafe-fake na.  So be cautious lang.

^^sis when i sell my car before basta binigay ko lang un signed deed of sale then copy of my id's. or and cr.. then sya na pa-notarized nun.  tapos cash lang talaga. ayoko din kc tseke kc baka magka problema pa. if ever naman takot sya maglabas ng pera pede mo samahan na lang sa bank then kung may account ka rin dun much better.. pedeng withdraw then deposit syo.. atleast mas panatag..
