hi guys. alam niyo ba saan ako makakabili ng bed raiser/ bed foot? kasi naiinis ako sa bed frame ng kama namin nagcoconsume ng space. kaya sabi ko kay hubby bumili na lang kami ng paa ng bed.

Hi sis amihan, what's the update on your bed? Magkano inabot and what kind of wood was used?

May nakaisip/gumagamit sa inyo ng iron or steel bed frame? I've been looking at design blogs at marami akong crush na daybed with iron frame. Naisip ko kung wala akong makitang matinong wood bed frame maker, maghahanap na lang ako ng iron works para ipa-fabricate siya. Tell me, is this a bad idea? Naisip ko lang na cons mabigat (although baka pwede lagyan ng casters) at kung di quality ang gawa it'll squeak. Naalala ko yung tinutulugan kong steel frame bunkbed nung nakatira pa ako sa parents ko - it squeaked! Baka bad idea ito lalo na yung daybed siya din ang main bed ko.

I have always wanted to buy a wrought iron bed, but couldn't find anything pa. Any recommendations?

^I sometimes come across them when there are furniture fairs at Greenhills.

I once saw a wrought iron daybed at SM in Makati. It had a pull out trundle and was only 15K! I so regret not buying it My inlaws offered to buy it pa. I was pregnant in my first trimester and wasn't feeling well I keep looking for it whenever I visit SM but it's never come up again

Mga sis, pahelp naman san maganda bumili ng bed frame? meron sa province namin less than 5k lang kaso ang layo if ibyabyahe pa dito e. Near Marikina area kami kasi e. Baka may marefer kayong supplier na gumagawa ng bed. TIA

MGA SIS ok ba bumili ng mattress pad o topper ok pa naman kasi bed ko kaso nagcontemplate ako kung bili ako nito thanks

^For us, mattress pad is very important kase it's also hygienic. Madali kase to malabhan so pag may untoward accidents such as wiwi, vomit, or what not, mas madali mag clean kesa the stains go directly to the mattress. It also helps preserve the condition of your mattress longer

I had a great experience with my transaction kay Chiqui of Chiqui's Furniture (they have a facebook page). Although it wasn't a bed per se, it was a wooden merchandise still that I paid for a custom made from her.

I posted my horrible experience from Ampreza Woodcrafts, Festival Mall Alabang earlier, but I realized this thread is for beds so i had it erased hehe

Anyways, if anyone wants to try Chiqui's Furniture, you may inquire about their rates for custom made wooden bed (they use Narra btw)

We went to Mandaue Foam Cainta yesterday and got really great discounts because of the sale. We got a queen size (9" thick, 60x75) chiropractic mattress and bed box for 11k. I'm super happy, I loove the bed!

Mangada din yun Uratex de luxe. Pina custom cut yun mattress namin kasi alanganin yun size.  Hindi standard queen size yun bed frame namin. Ang standard queen is 60x75. Mine is 63x72. Paid mga 7k Lang and so love it.  Feeling ko parang naka high ako sa tempur mattress.

Hi! Are bed frames from Our Home durable? We're looking for a bed frame that has storage drawers to save space.

If solid wood, I think ok lang.  Never get the laminated/MFC/MDF ones lang because it will not last.

You can also check Mandaue Foam, they have solid wood beds in reasonable prices and they can also customize it for you if you want storage under.

Thanks, iamsuperizch! Canvassing now and checked Ikea and Mandaue also. Mandaue kasi will take 2-3 months to make eh. Might be too long to wait since we need it by December or January. But I requested a quotation as well for this when we dropped by their store. Any other suggestions where to buy sturdy beds ready-made or customized?

I would like to have a queen size bed with pull out bed for my condo. May ganito ba sa Mandaue or can you refer me sa mga furniture maker near QC   and San Juan? Mga magkano kaya ang custom built bed ?

Not sure lang if meron pa sila stock now.

For a queen-size bed, it depends on the design but allot around 40k to 50k per piece (bedframe only; no mattress) for both off-the floor and custom-made pieces.
