sana may magpost dito na nagpacustomized ng bed frame for their kiddo..

meron ako alam gumagawa ng customized bed frame dito sa cavite. 3800 ang isa, single o queen. palo china ang material nila.

Galing akong Mandaue Foam Quezon Ave Branch kahapon. Masyado ata naging mataas expectations ko kasi based from mga nakita ko sa blogs maganda sya kaso nung pumunta ako sa Quezon Ave branch, ang gulo-gulo. Parang ginawang tambakan na yung mga likod-likod sa ground floor and second floor. Nobody cares to assist man lang to think of it na halos walang tao na or ako na lang ata yung customer dun nung pumunta ako kasi medyo gabi na (mga 6:30 pm). 2 floors lang pala sya. Mas ok pa ata yung nasa Las Pinas (3 floors) and mas maayos nakita ko sa isang blog or inayos lang nila? LOL. Sa Cainta 4 floors daw. Anyway, magpapaquote sana ako for my upholstered bed frame (54x75) with single pull-out na may 3 drawers sa kabilang side kaso ka-ler-k! Yung taga-quote sa Mandaue pa. Kapag regular items kasi nila, kahit dito daw sa Manila ginagawa. Kung may sarili akong specs, sa Mandaue raw. Ang problem wala naman silang upholstered bed na nakadisplay pati yung catalogue nila old edition na and iilan lang yung models nila ng upholstered bed. Tapos after 1 week pa makuha yung quotation then 3 months pa para makuha yung pinaggawang upholstered bed frame! My guuuzzz!!! Kamusta naman?? Tapos na Pasko and New Year, wala pa rin akong kama if ever??! LOL.

In a month or two kasi, lilipat na kami ng bahay kaya medyo naghahanap-hanap na talaga ako ng magaling gumawa ng upholstered bed frame. Napapaisip nga ako lumakbay patungo Cebu next week kasi gusto ko personal kong makakausap yung mismong gagawa at taga-quote. Ayaw ko kasi may mali sa pag-communicate sa mga gusto kong detalye sa ipapacustomize kong bed frame and maganda na rin na harap-harapan. Medyo may pagka-perfectionist ako kasi pagdating sa ganitong bagay lalo na if malaking pera ang ginastos or gagastusin. Ayaw ko yung pwede na or "half-cooked". Gusto ko yung gusto ko talaga and matutuwa talaga ako sa purchase ko. LOL! Sino ba kalaban ng Mandaue Foam na kasinghusay nila gumawa ng upholstered bed frame and furnitures? Baka kasi meron pa naman dito sa Manila. Para iwas biyahe na rin and hindi ko na kailangan maghintay ng 3 months. Any suggestions pa mga sisses?

Sis, kindly share your experience ha. Ganda ng bed ng kakilala ko e. Ni-refer ko lang din siya dun. Mahirap lang daw kausap yung may-ari. Pero maayos naman daw ang yari.

Waaaaahhh!!! I went to Mandaue Foam, Cainta Branch earlier. Super ayos ng branch compared to Quezon Ave. Now that's a store! Hehe..  Ayun mega heart to heart talk kami ng isa sa mga tao nila dun. Nagpacustomize kasi ako ng upholstered bed frame tipong pang 5-star hotel. Baka talo pa nga yung bed frame ng ibang five star hotels. Hihi..    Talk about being mega-OC. As in bawat details pati kapal ng wood mega-measure kami. Hehe.. Anyway, I'm willing to wait 3 months. Kahit sabihin na natin nag-Pasko and New Year na pero wala pa rin akong kama, ok lang sa akin. Accepted ko na. Kaysa habambuhay naman ako magsisi. LOL.  Kasi parang iba kapag Mandaue Foam gumawa. Parang may panatag ako. Siguro kasi may pangalan. Pero maraming magagandang furnitures naman talaga in fairness sa kanila.

Hayzzz, can't wait for the costing. Sana carry pa rin ng budget. Anyway, may nakita akong mattress dun. Mas type ko kaysa sa nabili ko sa Uratex. Way mas mahal nga lang ito. More than double the price. Pang-hotel quality kasi. Mukhang ibebenta ko itong nabili ko sa ate ko or sa sulit kasi gusto ko talaga yung mattress na nakita ko sa Mandaue.

^ Sis, parang may mga napansin akong naka-40% off pero di ko talaga pinansin masyado. Yung bed kasi na panghotel quality yung nasa focus ko. Hehe.. You can call their branch naman to inquire. Kasi yung mattress na pinagtanungan ko ay made to order. 10 working days ang lead time. Grabe nga lang, may bayad delivery nila. Sa Malate area kami nakatira, charge sa area namin ay 900 pesopesoses! Ang mahal. Anyhoo, balak ko ipagsabay-sabay na silang lahat ipadeliver --- bed frame, mattress, pillows, comforter, linens, etc. para isang delivery charge na lang. Hehe..

^try ko na lang drop by sa Las Pinas branch nila, yup may delivery charge talaga sila, I'm from Cavite and 1,200 yata delivery charge nila for sofa & dinning table, nakabili ako nun nung anniversary sale nila nung August, laki ng na discount namin kaya gusto ko ulit check yung 40% off nila for mattress, nasa Fb & website kase nila, thanks sis

^ You're welcome sis.   Yung kausap ko pala sa branch nila (manager-in-training pala sya. hehe..), na-send na sa akin kanina yung layout nung pinag-usapan namin nung isang araw. Ang galing! Hehe..

Hi! Aside from Forty Winks, does anybody know where I can buy a four poster bed? Or if you can recommend a good / reputable maker? If I will have it custom made, I prefer that the bed be made of narra, or any other hardwood. Thanks so much!

in search na din ako ng bedframe. we have the Uratex foam bought July 2012 from 18K we paid 10K lang. makapal din siya, queen size.. we don't have bed now, so sa floor lang siya, may sapin lang sa baba. kasi malikot baby ko e. so ok lang walang bed and nasa attic part yung room na occupied namin so having a bed is not ok. since lilipat na kami sa 2nd floor . we would want to have bed na. so searching na din ako talaga.

kinoconsider ko si Mandaue, and nakita ko gawa ni Kahoy world parang ang gaganda. wala ako tiwala sa SM furnitures kasi parang yung ibang closets or dining tables gawa lang nung mga furniture stores along pasig or rizal..

Had to buy my daughters 2 single beds. i wanted to get the ones from leoque but at 12.5k apiece its too much. was able to get them from CW at Ortigas Home Depot for php 7.5k/each (plus 5% off ata). Made of Malaysian rubber wood and it seems sturdy naman (our bed is made of the same material and we had it for almost 7yrs). We saw a bed in Mandaue cainta branch for php 8.5k but it was the last piece and we wanted matching beds. They couldn't assure us we will be able to have a similar one customized.

^Hi sis!

How old are your daughters? Do they share a room or they have different rooms?  For how long do you forecast the utility of the single beds? Until their teenage years na ba?

I am asking because my eldest is 4 years old and I have another (girl din) on the way.  We currently have a double bed in my daughter's room and I am thinking of having them room together later on.  I think baby #2 will co-sleep until she's also about 4 or 5 so by then, the eldest will be almost 10 years old. 

I don't know the dyamics of sisters (I didn't have one, 3 brothers and I am the youngest).  I want them to bond so I am not sure if I should let them have separate rooms.

Any inputs?

^^we are on the same boat nga (didn't have sisters so I really don't know how it is to share rooms). Yes my daughters will share the room. We actually have an existing bed with trundle but we thought na since shared na nga ang room, Kahit sa bed man Lang eh at least may privacy sila. My son will use the old bed. I tried the bed we bought and kasya naman ako (I'm 5'6") with room to spare. Hopefully these will last til they move out of the house when they're older.

I have some friends who were discouraging me from letting my daughters co-share. Ma-drama daw girls and would be a headache during their teenage years. But since we cant do anything with the number of rooms, that will be the sleeping arrangment. i had cousins naman who co-shared rooms and wala namang problems. My daughters are 5yrs apart so di magkasabay ang dramahan.

I have friends with 2 daughters only, I'll ask them for inputs on bed/sleeping arrangements.  I can put them in 2 separate rooms but I want to put the other room to another purpose - currently it is our TV room/playroom with a sofa, my accent chair and a kiddie chair and table.  I am thinking there should be a sofabed instead, to turn the room into an emergency guest room.

Maybe we should start a separate thread under Living Quarters - Sibling Sleeping Arrangements.

We'll be moving to our small condo unit next year and I'm scouting for a bed maker. I want na magpa-customize kase ng queez size platform bed with drawers underneath. I love our current narra bed but unfortunately hinde practical na dalhin sya sa condo cus the MB is very small. We also want a single bed with pull out to be made for our daughter.

Do you guys know any reputable furniture maker (kahit hinde narra, super mahal non eh) around the East-Pasig area?
