Been trying to decide between a double/full-size bed and a queen bed.

Either would be a BIG improvement since hubby and I have been managing on a SINGLE bed. Crazy right? Not even semi-full, single lang talaga. Our mattress is the smallest one from Uratex.

Anyway, in our new condo, the wall in our room is 105" long (up to the closet doors). But when you open the closet door and stand there, the "usable" length is actually more like 75".

Double - 54" x 75". Queen - 60" x 75"

In theory, the queen (60" in a 75" room) should fit right? Have you tried bringing in a queen size bed in a condo bedroom? Yay or nay? Or will it just be really cramped?

I WISH the queen would fit and be comfortable. More individual sleeping space and room to roll about And so says About's Is a Queen or Double Bed Right for You?

Either way, we would choose a bedframe design that's narrow and sleek – nothing bulky. And with raised legs, nothing should be stored underneath so as not to appear messy, bulky, and cluttered and you see more of the floor.

And we'd have to forego proper nightstands, and maybe just substitute with a a rolling rack or if we're lucky to find super narrow nightstands.

Hi! Pag nag-purchase ba ng bedframe and mattress from stores like Our Home (SM), how long does it take for them to deliver? Readily available ba yung stocks nila on display, or me waiting time pa to manufacture the same style?

When we bought a bed a year ago from SM Homeworld, it took them 3 days to delivery it due to the schdedule daw.

SM Delivery Staff and their Management are laxed pag yung buyer feeling nila hindi magrereklamo, nadala na ko bumili sa SM ng furnitures since my sakit-ng-ulo last year, the bed frame they delivered samin, may missing bars that support the mattress, tapos merong portion nung frame na hindi magkakasukat. the dining set I ordered has paintchips sa legs nung chairs, they said they can pick up mga 3 days after that call I made habang inuunload nila yung mga gamit in front of the condo building, we were persistent na hindi namin tatanggapin those defective and damaged items, ayaw nila nung una, ireceive nalang daw muna then babalikan nalang to pick up and indefinite daw ang date ng replacement.

Was so stressed na noon because ako lahat nag-asikaso everything with regards to the renovation and purchasing ng gamit nung condo, so ayun, my mom had to deal with that problem with SM, ang ending, pumayag sila na hindi namin ireceive, they said indefinite talaga date ng replacement since ang last stock is yung display na, di padin pumayag mom ko, did a little sermon, then ayun, the morning after, around 11am, tumawag yung guard ng condo, the delivery boys ng sm and the replacements are there na daw. Kung di pa papagalitan, di rin sila magmamadali.

naku pag ako eh talagang makikipag-away ako sa SM pag ganyan. yan ang mahirap sa pinas eh, they do not pay attention to the quality of their service. and if you're not careful enough, you will be short-changed. eh ako i really make sure that i get exactly what i paid for, or else..

Hi! May alam ba kayo na pwedeng bilhan/pagawaan ng bedbox na affordable. Pinakamura kong nakita is yung sa Homevalue Concept sa Mandaluyong. 3,000 para sa full size na bed box tapos 5,599 yung mattress. 8,600 yung total pero namamahalan pa din ako.

Yes, I'm thinking of getting a new bed ulit. While our bed is still ok for us size-wise, eh iniisip ko naman na bumili ng mas sturdy since my daughter likes to jump on our bed (and may kabigataan sya). Plus, I want sana yung may pull out sa ilalim. Any ideas on where I can buy one? Or mas ok kaya na magpagawa na lang?

i saw an ad with regard to a queen bed frame, 5300.. solid taguile daw yung kahoy.. okay kaya yun mga sisses? or better go with steel beds? my hubby kasi is on the heavy side..

^I wouldnt advice steel beds cus they easily get bent. Wrought iron beds are ok sana or narra/mahogany beds pang matagalan.

thanks, twelvth_goddess! it is tanguile wood. i think it is okay na. we're quite settled on it because it is low. at least, i won't be worried na mahulog si baby sa kama. we've been using mattress lang kasi ever since dahil malikot masyado matulog si baby.

^Good choice ang low framed beds. Scary talaga for toddlers especially My daughter loves to jump and run on our bed and the bed is quite high. When she was around 6 months old naman, nahulog sya sa bed when we were sleeping in my mom's room BUti na lang the bed that we were sleeping on was low lang, and she's padded (chubby girl kase) kaya nagulat lang naman sya and hinde naman nasaktan talaga.

My mom gave us her queen size narra bed and we're very thankful. Yung napagtanungan namin na gagawa sana ng bed for us quoted us 40k for a queen size narra box bed with simple headboard. Yun na pinaka-mura na napagtanungan namin. I'm so happy na nakatipid kame hehe
