wow that IS nice...Hayy kung hinde kame super nagastusan sa pagpapagawa ng car eh nakalaan sana sa bed and closet ang budget namin. We have some left but hinde na pwedeng mag-splurge talaga.

I want upholstered bed naman, queen-size. Where can I have this done?

Hi sis, ako pina upholster ko yung bed namin. wood frame sha na japanese style. eh yung baby ko malikot na so, naisip ko baka mauntog sa headboard or madapa sa edges. ayun, pina upholster ko. P10k yung charge for the upholstering (with foam mattress and very soft leather). maganda sha. nagustuhan ni hubby. mukha daw binili na ganun.

i originally bought the bed frame from abea. costs 17k last year for a king size.

battarfly: Really neat one. if you know a good carpenter, you can just print out the picture and show it to him. Give him the size of the bed and he can customize it the way you want. You will only have problem regarding the measurement, you need to give him full details of what you want.

We saw a bed in SM department store it is combination of wood (Rubber wood from Malaysia daw) and of a metal, maganda din ang design parang wood na rin kung medyo limited ang budget, for a Queen size Bed Frame it is like less than 7k.

^It is just like a laminated wood, pero hindi. Matibay dahil kilala daw ang wood na ganun sa Malaysia, I don't know baka sales talk lang.

No, just the bed frame lang.

i'm also on the lookout for bed frames and mattresses...a friend of mine said madaming magandang bed frames at good prices sa Makro and Uniwide. sa mattress naman, i think we'll go directly to the Uratex warehouse in somewhere sa service road in South Super, my SIL got a double-sized mattress (not sure if 5 or 6 inches thick) earlier this year for about 3k+ lang - not bad!

^ Maganda talaga bumili ng mattress sa mismong warehouse ng Uratex. It's cheaper and you'll have a wider choice/ varieties.

rubber wood is not that good., parang cork ang ilalim.
pero, comparing it with laminated ones, mas okay sa akin ang rubberwood

i was able to buy a bed na combination of rubber wood and metal din for P7k with mattress na, choice of sheraton or uratex mattress. di eksakto na ganyang design, mas simple yung design ng metal na nabili ko. mas maganda etong design na nabili mo sa sm
