Madalas ko kasi marinig na napo-pronounce yung -th- like, er, thong. When I say it correctly, I notice people subtly "correcting" me by saying the word again and pronouncing the word with a soft th, not knowing na yun ang mali.

ask ko lang [textspeak!] WI-FI, should it be pronounced as wai fai or wai fee??? It comes from the words wireless fidelity so ang argument ng IT namin is, it should be pronounced as wai fee???

confused...

^wai fai rin gamit ko. para rin syang Hi-Fi, I haven't heard anyone (yet) pronounce it as hai fee.
