a friend of mine got caught in one big malls in the metro. she/he didn't do it on purpose parang nalagay nya sa bag nya unknowingly pero marami syang pera and balak nya talaga bayaran. ending, sinundan sya ng security kasi nakita pala sa cctv then nagbayad sya ng fine na more than 4,000php para wag sya makulong.


any stories about shoplifting or being klepto, nanakawan na ba kayo or nagnakaw na? hehehhe

Nanakawan na before sa office when I was newly promoted. I left my company phone inside my bag tapos my other phone lang dinala ko sa kabilang office. There were 2 other trainers inside the office that time and my bag was hidden under my desk so um-effort talaga ang kumuha.

Pagbalik ko sa office wala na and can't be reached na din while the one of the 2 trainers left na din. Unfortunately, walang security cam sa loob nung office, sa corridor lang. Buti na lang I brought my other phone that time kase kakabili lang non. Grabe ang mga taong malilikot ang kamay, gusto nila instant gamit/pera palage. Anyway, na-karma naman yung sya.

nanakawan madami ng beses kahit ano pang tago ang gawin ko kapag ang isang tao talagang nangangailangan ay kayang maghanap kahit sa ilalim pa yan ng talahiban.

dati sa office namin laging may nawawala lahat nga kami suspect kaya lang nung magresign yung isang staff biglang natigil yung mga nawalan so alam na namin kung sino yung kumukuha ng mga gamit.

one memorable time na nanakawan ako (although madaming beses na rin nangyari sa akin): back in high school, there was a fast food resto beneath our dormitory. my best friend and i would go down to study there sometimes until the wee hours of the night. one time, inantok ako so umidlip ako sandali. when i opened my eyes again, wala na bag ko which was just sitting beside me atop some of my books! my best friend was so busy studying that she didn't notice anybody taking it din. yun pala, the couple sa likod namin yung kumuha (when we asked the guard if he saw anybody with a small deep red messenger bag and sabi nga yung kakaalis na couple may dala-dalang ganun.

nakakaiyak talaga yun. favorite bag ko pa naman yun and it was the start of the week, so buong allowance ko was still in my wallet. i also had to copy past notes from my classmates.

some guys from my class nung fourth year high school had wet floor signs, fast-food trays, tarps, and even bus seat covers. i'm pretty sure they got them without permission.

yung shoplifting, not me, my sis. she was in a bookstore and saw this super cute eraser. hindi niya talaga ninakaw ha pero nawala sa loob niya na hawak niya yung eraser. nakalabas siya na nasa kanya pa rin pala. di na niya sinoli baka daw masabon pa siya lalo. buti walang alarm o walang nakakita sa kanya.

sa akin naman, once ako na-holdup sa jeep. dun sa may pier may sumakay na dalawang epal. mararamdaman mo pala talaga kapag may mali sa paligid mo. kasi kinabahan talaga ako nung sumakay sila kasi they were fidgeting and looking around nervously. amateurs blech. sa dinami dami ng pasahero, ako lang sinubukan nilang biktimahin . tinutukan nila akong kutsilyo na nakasara (engs harhar) pero wala silang nakuha. stubborn ako eh harhar.

other time naman, na-slash bag ko. from monumento to our house which was a good 15 minutes or so. at di ko siya narealize until nasa bahay na ako mismo. nakuha wallet ko. dami pa namang pera nun kasi part yun ng christmas money ko eh. magaling sila. bilib ako. harhar.

okay, i'm going to admit that me and my friends have done this a couple of times, just for the sake of getting away with it... and because sometimes, its funny.

we once stole a can of Coke from a display at Dairy Queen.

we stole random items from our college's bulletin boards (signs and posters), locker rooms (umbrellas), and even student's diorama projects on display (barbie dolls)

ive got 3 street signs from subdivisions.

i've got an orange cone.

i've got a collection of ashtrays from various restaurants, even though i don't smoke.

i've got leather restaurant menus.

we stole potato chips from our school's canteen because my friend all of a sudden stuffed it in my uniform and then pushed me out the canteen.

i've got a LOT of shot glasses too. and the drinking glasses we have in my apartment right now, yeah, they were from my school's Tiki Bar.

in my first job, i got a shitload of Post-Its, pens, markers and tapes.

im sure there's more that i just forgot...

its small random things that we get, and while people would easily call me klepto, i've got to say, i would never ever ever steal something like cellphones or wallets or anything else that i know are valuable.

contradicting ang statements mo neng! it may seem "small, random things" but those things are VALUABLE to those people who u took stuff from  they've spent money on those umbrella, barbie dolls, shot glasses, markers, pens, and all the abovementioned things.

waaa! no need naman siguro for a holier-than-thou attitude here. sis spacemonkey was just being honest and sharing her experience as initiated by the threadstarter. she didn't post her experience naman siguro just to be sort of apprehended by other posters here. because if that's the kind of reaction.. better na lang huwag mag post with honesty, diba?

May office mate din ako parang ganyan, they were renting an apartment in Makati. One time bumili si officemate sa isang carinderia, kinuha niya daw yung mga kutsara at tinidor mga 4 pairs ata. May kinuha din siya beer glass from a cafe/bar sa likod ng office namin. Ayun karamihan sa mga gamit nila sa apartment kung hinde disposable from fast food chains, microwaveable, eh nakaw from carinderia/resto hehe.

Isa pa, officemate ( magna ) din. Muntik na ako ang mabiktima kasi, I go to the office 1 hour before my shift tapos natutulog ako. That day ako at si officemate1 ( yung ninakawan ) ang natutulog. Nahulog cellphone ni officemate1, kinuha ni officemate magna at nilagay sa locker niya at ni-off. Nung nagising si officemate1 hinanap niya syempre cellphone niya kasi alam niya ng alarm siya. Sinabi niya sa sup, si sup pinag bathroom break mga 3 tao at binisita nila locker nila together with the sup, ayun nakita sa locker ni magna, ang dahilan? tinago niya daw kasi baka may iba makakuha e alam niya daw marami nwawalan ng gamit, bakit naka off? nalobat daw, e nung ni-open bongga full charge kaya yun! suspended si magna. tigas ng mukha til now nandito pa din sa office

its a a kind disorder..psychologically.They need help.Sa US ginagamot yung mga klepto,sadly sa bansa natin we condemn them.

my cousin, i don't know if she's klepto or just plain thief. kinupkop namin siya dito sa bahay..kasi nakiusap yung relative namin..para daw malapit lang sa school.and hindi magastos sa pamasahe..

so dun nagsimula ang lahat..simula ng dumating siya dito..palagi na kami nawawalan ng pera..we're already having doubts about her..until one day..yung brother decided to set up a hidden camera..and yun..kitang kita na kinukupitan niya yung bag ng mom ko..

my mom, then decided to tell her brother about it..and sila pa masama ang loob..at yung cousin ko..hindi naman inamin na siya rin ang responsible sa ibang incident ng nakawan dito sa bahay..inamin niya lang what was caught on the camera.

grabe nakakalokah yung sakit na to kasama namin dati sa boarding house may sakit na ganito grabe nakakastress everyday may kinukuha kaming gamit sa closet niya.

klepto is like a sickness na talagang kukunin mo anything you want...kahit kanino pa yan...typical malikot ang kamay.  Shoplifting usually happens in malls and stores...ninanakaw ang paninda nila.

Madami akong nakikita sa mall na nagsha shoplift di ko man lang sinisita. Pero la akong pakialam problema na nila yun. Pero minsan may kapitbahay kami na medyo okay naman image kaya lang nasira mula nung mahuling nag shoplift sa malaking store. Nakulong lang ng isang gabi. Pero sira na yung image nya.

Naku nung nag fire sale sa sm san lazaro, daming nagnakaw, as in tinatanggal nila yung tag ng mga gamit, yung iba, hawak na nila para sabihin na gamit nila, yung damit sinusuot na nila, ganun ka grabe.... wala bang cctv camera ang sm?
