i availed lang promo ng air asia then DIY lang with accomodation and sight seeing, and of course todong research talaga.. hehe

Sis, if you're holding a Philippine passport, no need for a visa in either Thailand or Cambodia.

yup, no need. when we rode a tuktuk to cross the thailand-cambodia border, the driver brought us to the consulate. dinaan nya kami doon and he was trying to explain something.. hindi namin maintindihan yung english nya so sumunod lang kami. inside, they made us fill out a form to apply for a visa.. tapos sabi namin, pinoy naman kami so dapat hindi na kukuha... then we went out na. in fairness sa tuktuk driver, marunong sya magmanage ng turista. =)

We're doing Vietnam (HCM)- Cambodia(Siem Reap) on October. Here's s the plan-
Days 1 and 2- HCM
Day 3- Bus travel from HCM- Siem Reap
Days 4-5- Angkor [textspeak!] tour
Day 6- Bus travel Siem Reap to HCM
Day 7-Leave for Mnl

Or is it better if one day lang tour ng Angkor War?

Yipes, as much as I wanted sis wala pang pera at that time, di pa nakaipon plus may pasok ako ng june 15 onwards..

I plan to have my out of the country trip pa in October (for my birthday). At that time, nakaipon na ako. Hehe.  Wish I could joint you on the 12th

It depends. Ako nabitin ako sa one day tour lang ng Angkor W-a-t, but I opted for it kasi I was just starting my trip so mega conscious sa money (a 1-day pass is $20, the 3-day pass is $40).

You can see a lot naman even with the one-day pass if you maximize your time. Recommended time to buy your temple pass is late in the afternoon, mga 4:30pm. At 5pm kasi, entrance to the Angkor Heritage park is free na, so you can go to have a quick look at the Angkor W-a-t or go up the temple in the mountain (where the best sunset view is). The following day, start off early. Angkor W-a-t has the best sunrise views daw, but it's up to you na if you want to go with all the tourists. By 9am, hindi ganun kadami yung tao (I went there ng June).

di na ako tuloy sa SEA trip namin nila sis riandrew & kikay iska. wala na kasi akong budget para sa trip.

^sayang talaga sis kasi dream ko tong trip na to. kaso mas may importante pa akong mga gastusin ngayon. kaya give up ko na lang muna tong SEA trip para sa project ko sa cebu, dami pa kasing kulang.

i'm planning for my SEA trip din this july.. so far eto na yung plan ko MNL-KL-SG-BKK-LAOS-BKK-MNL for 1 week so goodluck nalang may 1hr difference tayo sa BKK diba?
