I just wonder how come the moderators do not delete irrelevant posts like 'padaan po', 'pasali po', and the likes? Honestly, yung mga nagpo-post ng ganon contributes to waste of time in backreading. Humahaba ang threads dahil sa mga walang kwentang posts na ganyan.

^haha di talaga maiiwan ang mga pasaway sis kaya go lang sa pag-RTM para makatulong sa mga mods.

Given na yang pagbabawas ng topics hence pagbabawas ng posts. Yung akin over 6k posts ang nawala pero ok lang, ganun naman talaga yun hehe Wala naman yan sa dami ng post count.

I think from a computing standpoint mali yata ang formula ang gamit ng GT. They are not really accounting true historical counts ng postings - if this is where they base rankings. Storing a simple counter is not much of an overhead and very minimal, if none, sa impediment ng performance ng GT site.

I AGREE! As someone who works in the IT industry as well, Fail talaga saken to.
What's the logic of displaying the post count and ranking the members based from it, kung fluctuating ang values neto? Sa isang site where people uses nicknames, What other way to know the member's credibility, aside from the number of posts? There is no way to count the "valid posts" e, so quantity talaga.

Sa other forums, nareretain yung post count, dito lang yung na-encounter ko na hindi.

Still, hindi dapat naababawas yun. Eh di wag na lang sila maglagay ng "Junior/Senior/Super/Platinum" at all. Bale wala din kung mababawasan ng mababawasan post count mo. If I were to stop posting for about a year or two, hindi ako magtataka na maubos post count ko and back to zero ako dahil na-delete na lahat ng old threads na napag-post-an ko.

And if someone will say na eh di dun ka na lang sa forum na hindi nababawasan post count since wala naman pumipilit na dito ako magpost, that is not the point here. Inuunahan ko na.

super agree!! dapat retain parin nila yung number of post and rank. its something that we look forward to, and excites us in reading and posting our opinions, it gives the feeling of achieving something nga even if its nothing really important.

mine too.. 4700+ biglang naging 3900 nung last na tingin ko from web.. Di ko sure kung 3900+ pa din ngayon or mas mababa na

Di naman ako nagrereklamo pero sana magawan nila ng paraan ito hahaha! Or better yet, tanggalin nila yung post counts then i-base na lang nila yung ranking sa forum by activity ratio + kung gaano na katagal na gter.. Pero mas komplikado ata yun at maraming magsasamantala
