Bringing home the box is a dilemma!

I had a very funny experience when I got my first hermes bag in HK. When Hubby and I saw the box, we told the SA that we're not bringing it home, kasi nga takot ako sa customs. We also asked for a plain paper bag, haha! But he wouldn't hear any of it. He was soooo funny. He told my husband "this is part of your purchase, how can you not bring it with you!" "please be our walking advertisement and carry our paper bag!" Hahahaha! So I told my husband to just get the box and we will decide when we get back to the hotel. Good thing I had this blue Ikea reusable bag, shoot na shoot yung box. I hand-carried it, put a jacket on top para di makita ang orange box, pero sobrang kabado ako.

Early this year, I got another bag in Tokyo. Hay, heto nanaman ang problema, bring the box home or not. Naawa si hubby sakin so hanap kami ng malaking bag. Got a big plastic reusable bag from a toy store tapos binalot ko ng shawl yung kahon, whew!

Birkin/Kelly ba?  If either 1 - anak ka ni God talaga if you get 1 off the shelves in Europe.  Even in NYC/San Fo.

aquacharly, there were a couple of Kellys on display at the George V boutique pero di ko pinatulan because my heart was set on getting the Jypsiere.

I tried the Jypsiere 34 but I found it too big. I wanted to try the 31 (their new size) but walang available in all three stores. Yeah, pinuntahan ko talaga lahat on separate days but wala talaga LOL! No lines at the George V and Sevres boutiques. Different story at the FSH boutique though 

Long story short, I got the 28 in Blue Hydra. I was kinda surprised that the size was just right for me (I'm 5'6"). Of course it didn't help that both my sisters were egging me to get it na LOL!  Oh, I'm having the box balik bayan boxed to me.

Ive seen it but i have the double tour armband though. As you expect from hermes the leather is of superior quality and so as the stitching and the hardware.  I find it quite challenging putting it on sometimes. Have you tried the watch? I think it is best to try it on and see how the lock feels plus the hanging padlock. Thats the only issue i can think of , but other than that, hermes is hermes... i suggest buying outside norway... As you know, it is cheaper in EU. was is rome last time when i bought my armband, so i got it quite cheaper because if the tax refund.

i'll be back in Rome early next year, i'll check the price there.. that is, if I can still control the urge of buying the kelly watch here..

 GOOD JOB!  Yes, the Jypsiere 28 is a very convenient size.  I use mine a lot for traveling.  Cross-body - it looks so chic (but still safe from itchy malicious fingers. Hahaha)
I am just 5'3" --  so that 28 must look sooo much better on you.   .

Hindi na ako makatulog kakaisip sa mga H bag na ito! Like ko din ang Jypsiere para on the go at both hands free!

^The Jypsiere that I got is in swift leather. I love the vibrant blue color! And magaang din yung bag as compared to the other leathers available at the store. Can't wait to get my next H bag. Hehe

Visited Hermes here in India last weekend. Very well stocked. They had a lot of accessories, Lindy's, Evelyne, HAC, Kelly Lakis, Picotin, Jypsiere etc. What I love most about this store is the honesty of the SA. She actually told me that if you purchase some extraordinary pieces, they can offer you a B or a K. But usually daw you have to wait 6 months for a special order, and that they mostly cater to local clients.

I will be in Paris again next month and will be dropping by the H shops. Let's see what I can get this time.

Guys, the posts are so tempting.  But for now, I'm thinking of getting a belt for my hubby. Just to clarify, it's around 25k?

And for the birkin, if I read it right, 400k to 500k last 2009?  Please help as i need to mentally prepare myself for this

Parang the Lindy is growing on me. The more I see pictures of it the more I'm liking it. What I like about it is it can be carried both sa shoulders or sa arm. Looks like a good alternate for a travel bag? Tempting!

^I got the Lindy na after much negotiation with the hubby. It is a great travel bag. Ma-trabaho lang to open/close it. Looks like a fortune cookie no? hehe

I sold my birkins in Japan and replaced them with Kellys instead. Ayoko na ng birkin. So far im not regretting my decision hehe.

^I know! At first I found it weird na nafo-fold sya in the middle but after seeing them in person, nagagandahan na ako. I don't mind na mahirap buksan that just means mahirap din madukutan. 

What size did you get? I read the 30 has shorter shoulder straps while the 34 though with longer straps which I prefer looks bulky naman. Although I haven't tried them on yet, parang when I was deciding on what size to get on the Jypsiere. I was decided to get the 34 only to find out that it was so big pala. I ended up with a 28.

I hope there would be Lindys readily available next month. I have 3 cities in Europe to check before arriving in Paris. Hermes-hopping! Hehe!

Hmmm... I'm just a couple inches taller than you baka the 30 will also suit me better. We'll see. I hope I get to try both sizes. And sana they also have the color that I'm looking for.
