sabster, oh I see, I had always thought Bleu Roi and Royal Blue were one and the same.  Thanks for the info!  I haven't reached any level of ecpertise when it comes Hermes Birkin colors yet.  I only have 1 Birkin and I just started this "vice" early this year.

Hay naku, hwag na lang.   But if anyone wants to test drive a Birkin or Lindy ... puede ko pa do so, just like my offer with my other brand bags -- basta Ortigas or Greenhills or New Manila area.  Lalo na that Lindy... for me, it is an inconvenient bag.   Kaya lang, hay naku talaga ... that rouge of mine is so malandi.

alam mo, i never thought i would be into bags. eh when i decided that i would buy lv, i started with a speedy. sabi ko 1 lang na expensive bag, okay na ko. then i bought more. same thing with the other brands, i start with a classic style pero parang nadadala ako bumili ng mas marami...hay. ngayon gusto ko ng hermes but im not sure where to start.

no worries. I used to have blue roi myself but I unloaded it to get a Thalassa blue.

Be careful what you ask for baka someone will call your dare and really test drive your bag and not return it. Unless you really have an unlimited bag fund to spend in case your bags get lost.

BTW, this aquacharly here really has huge sums of money to splurge on new designer bags.  But I'm sure, just like any other girl, she'd still feel bad if any of her precious bags was stolen.  I'm confident, though, that she's wise enough to put some extra security measures to make sure her bags don't get stolen whenever they're roadtested.

Bag snob, yes I know Ingrid Go. I wont consider myself a bag connoisseur yet though. I just happen to love anything Hermes and have been collecting the past few years. So I could say that I am quite adept at knowing the different blues from one another =)

Good for Aquacharly. Although I know of people who have 20 plus Hermes bags yet they are very afraid to lend them. Well, whatever floats ones boat then.

For me If money is no object maganda piliin mo ang Birkin 35 cm bag.Tulad ng sabi ni sis sabster na magandang investment ito at mataas ang resell value.

I stand corrected. Consulted my H collector friends last night and I forgot that there is a blue france color which is similar to royal blue. Although Sapphire is not far behind in shade. Blue Roi is a totally different shade altogether. As I've previously written roi is quite similar to Brighton such that they both have undertones of purple.

Yes they still produce a white in 35cm. Although my advice to you is if you do get your hands on a white Hermes bag make sure that the leather you get is either in Togo or clemence as these two leathers dont show as much wear as swift leather. Also white has a high incidence of color transfer from dark denims and clothes.
My favorite color that I have is my Jaune (yellow) and cyclamen (magenta) both in 35cm. My holy grail though is a fuschia or a rose shocking 35. Yun na lang and Im done with H. I was being offered by my personal H shopper but the price was a staggering $17k!!!
