No.  The more popular sizes are the 32, 35 and 40.
But the 35 is the most popular, at least here in the Phils.  The gay guys here prefer to use the size 40...

Let me put it this way,  if an LV is worth keeping track of and worth the time spent on coding.... an Hermes bag is more worth keeping track of,  and worth coding more. 
That is just how it is, Hermes has a good racket going on all these years, based on the perpetuation of the perception its bags are very limited and hard to get hold of (even if you have the cash on hand to immediately pay) 

I do not have a complete picture of how these bags are totally coded.  Suffice to say that the alphabet is the main code/indicator.  And if you should send it back for repair,  the very same craftsman who assembled it is going to see to your required repairs -- well, that is what they say (but how would I know for sure anyway).

One of the more knowledgeable posters here will for sure soon give a complete, brief rundown of how these bags are coded.   Abangan ang susunod na kabanata...

My favorite Hermes bag is the Birkin 35.
I get it in togo leather, coz for me, this is the most bugbog-able leather.   
I have some,  but I would not say madami... eh I am a working girl ha! I fund most of my vices.   
Am not user-friendly too  (well, hindi uubra kay hubby yon, LOL) nor do I have enough looks and aptitude to be using OPM (other people's money, LOL) -- otherwise, hay sana nga masasabi ko sa yo ngayon, yes madaming madaming akong Birkin 35s.

No serial no. but it has a date code (year it was made) and the craftsman's code (craftman who made the particular bag)

There is a size 50cm. otherwise known as the travel birkin.

There won't be any "available for sale" Birkins on opening date.   What they have in stock now are pre-orders.   
Kainis nga. Sa kaka cuentos ko, at times I forget impt details like that... dapat na order ko na pala before.  To think I was just yakking away then with them.  Grrrr
If you order now, you will get it around this time --  next year (at the earliest).    hay buhay.

Yeah, you mentioned early this year that Mario Katigbak already had some pages of waitlisted clients.  Won't you be getting your royal blue Birkin soon?  Or have you gotten it already?

Oh well, for now I'd settle for being able to step inside the store then. 

Anyway, just to be well-prepared...  if you place an order now, you also need to make the payment upon ordering, right?  I'm dreaming of a rouge Birkin.  I'll never get tired of red bags.

would you know if they have the click clack black enamel? 2.5 diameter, gold plated? hermes in scotts road and duty free don't have this colour for months na.

BAG SNOB -- I know, reds are really yummy.  That's how I got snared by that Lindy that  is causing me inconvenience.  LOL  IMO, reds are 1 of the top beautiful colors for Birkin35s.

When you order, they do not ask for any deposit.
But some stores ha, they are maarte about who they will allow on their waitlist. 

IF something is out of stock in the bigger stores... I doubt if GB4 will offer it.  So it may help (if you can wait months) to put it on the GB4 waitlist.  At least you just have to run over to Makati to pick it up, not HK or wherever.   

No, I am still waiting for my Royal Blue Birkin.    
Or, Violette -- whichever comes 1st.  basta!  LOL

Yes sapphire blue is a vintage color and has been discontinued long long ago. Its only through special order that you can get this color.

Yes, I asked for a Royal Blue kasi  LOL -- hindi bibitiwan ng MIL ko hers for sure. 
 
My attitude on this is -- 3 stores have already put me on their wait list for this... so it is a matter of time before it comes, IF it comes. I(eh hindi lang naman that color I have had myself waitlisted for, or have wangled others to wait list themselves for... OC nga medyo)
 If it doesn't arrive -- well, win some, lose some... it isn't as if I need that to define me LOL -- pang bugbog lang yang mga bags kasi hindi naman pa bugbog my drivers and my husband.  LOL

Like my black. Sabi noon -- hindi puede gold hardware.  They stopped making that combination na daw for 5 years sabi sa akin noon.  Pwes. insist pa rin ako.  Well, after little over a year ... ayon!  I got what I wanted.   Now, asking for a black with gold hardware is no big deal.
With Hermes kasi:  ... all good things come to those who wait.   LOL -- but I don't hold my breathe waiting.

Pa OT naman..  I did not have time to drop by the Goyard store at The Peninsula last month when I was in HK -- oo, na distract ako sobra.  TRUE -- really?  that Goyard has pulled out of HK?

BAG SNOB!  Good luck with your European shopping. Am crossing my fingers you get to put yourself in harm's way and buy a Birkin35 that will no longer cause sleepless nights!  It is a blessing, for sure, to mark one's travels with bags than with the usual souvenirs.

Blue Roi is not royal blue. Color is more like brighton blue which is blue with a hint of purple.
