I'm a fan of Ultimate Ears (UE), so if one has a bit of budget (2k+), but looking for clear sound with emphasis on bass, i'd recommend the Metro-Fi 220..
Also, for the uber budget conscious, the SoundMagic PL11 can be bought at P800.. If you purely like bass, that can be enough..

Btw, if you want to purchase earphones but way cheaper from the malls, i suggest you buy from online sellers from the usual techie websites..

I've bought my UE Triple-Fi 10 that are overpriced at 20k from mall stores, which are sold online for less than 10k.
I also got my Sennheiser IE-8 pre-loved at 6k (overpriced again at 20k from mall stores, but sold online brand new at 10k(?))

Oh yeah, just like what i've seen in the thread, i'd advise to avoid searching searching for Monster products (such as Beats etc) from such online sellers (unless with really really good feedbacks) because they tend to be fakes (labeled as 'OEM's in the online selling world)..
other brands tend to have fakes also, but if you're buying from sellers with really good feedback, i think the chance with be close to nil.

Ok na din price, parang roughly php2500-3000 lang yata. Maganda ang sound quality. Di nakasulat na noise-cancelling, pero based on my actual use, parang ganun na din. I love using this especially pag nasa airplane, tapos i'm watching movies/series using my ipad/iphone or sa laptop. Comfy din sa ears.

At home or sa car, i switch between this headphone and the free earphones from apple. Depends if gano kaingay ang environment ko.

i am using philips na earphones. ok naman sounds. ang winnng factor nyas the cord/wire kasi cable ype sya. i always wrap my earphones sa Gadgets ko so talaga more often than not nasisisra ko yun cord. sturdy sya kaya i am very happy. extrnded warranty pa

for my regular earphones that i use when i'm listening to music, i just choose between Sennheiser and Philips.

but now i badly need a good set of noise-canceling headphones/earphones. there's a new construction started near my condo and it's very noisy, i'm having a hard time sleeping. i did a little research, pero sobrang mahal naman ng Bose, which is highly recommended... pero di kaya ng bulsa ko yun.

siguro max of 5K ang kaya ko ilabas, pero sobrang sakit na sa bulsa nun. yung maluwag sa bulsa at sa puso ko, around 2-3K sana... any recommendations, please?

I'm a fan of Bose. Clear sound quality. Not a fan of Beats because I don't listen to music with too much bass so it's pretty much useless to me.

I love my Bose IE2. I have it for 2 years. Very durable than the other earphones I had. Ilang beses na siya nasasabit sa kung saan saan, walang sira. Yesterday, I bought the Bose AE2W because of the bluetooth function. Nice fit sa head, magaan and of course maganda ang sound quality.

my gf liked the Sennheiser HD238 due to its comfort and sound, so for those who like headphones where the pads are laid on top of your ears, i could recommended that or any of the HD22X and HD23X series.
It is similar to Bose OE series.so if budget is not a concern, you can also get that.

Since i prioritize sound isolation, i requested for custom eartips for my sennheiser ie8. This can be requested in Manila Hearing Aid (had mine in megamall). I paid roughly 2k+ for those, but the sound blockage is much effective because it has bit fitted to my ears. The earphones themselves are bought separately, got mine preloved at 5k.

Ano bang earphone na merong button kagaya nung earphone sa iphone na may mouth piece at buttons for volume then u can use that button to pause and or go to te next song...

Gusto ko kasi yung maraming functions din kasi hindi naman kamurahan yung branded at talagang magagandang earphones
