Hi everyone. I tried to search for the old Kia thread and i can't find it anymore so I started a new one.

We're planning kasi to trade-in our old Honda city for a Kia Rio. Any feedbacks on this vehicle? Do you think it's a good choice? To those who have tried the trade-in deal sa Kia, how much was the trade-in value of your used cars and what Kia model did you get it with?

Any feedbacks on the performance of Kia motors now?

i drive a kia rio sis. i have to say that im very happy with the performance of the car. maganda ang hatak and matipid sa gas (i used to drive a suzuki vitara, old model pa) compared sa dati kong auto. hindi ako nagpa-trade in ng kotse when i got my car. one year na sya sa akin. yun nga lang, nalubog sa baha so nasa casa na sya ngayon. on the upside, sobrang daling kausap ng mga service people ng kia so happy ako. they will give me back my car next week daw or early part of the week following.

my parents liked the rio so they also a got a carnival.

^hay naku sis. hindi natuloy plan namin i-trade in yung car. in fairness maganda talaga tingnan ang kia rio. yung front niya parang hawig ng ford focus.

sorry to hear about your car sis. sana pagbalik ng rio mo, it will be well and good on the road once again.

Hi sis! I drive a 2008 Kia Picanto. I love it talaga kasi I would usually spend 500 pesos for gas and for the whole week ko na un. Caloocan ako nakatira and my work is at Shaw Blvd. We already took my car sa CamSur and Baguio. Isang full tank hanggang Naga na and may natira pa. Sobrang efficient nya sa gas kaya my bf and I love taking my car during out of town trips.

It's around 550k when my mom bought it for me. 3 years to pay sya. Not sure kung same price pa rin now.

may nakita akong kia soul sa sm molino, ang cuutee. pero mahal siya for 1m+ ha,  sana ginawang diesel na lang..

wow.. as anyone saw the new Kia Forte sedan? ang ganda ng design!!! if only hindi negative ang connotation ng Kia brand dito sa atin sa 'pinas, this car would definitely be a hit! para sa akin, it can surely compete with their japanese-made (honda, toyota) sedan counterparts porma-wise. i don't know so much with the performance though.. but hey, they say kia is improving now.

parang gusto ko na talaga i-trade in car namin to a kia. sana nga lang di gawing pang-taxi ang model na ito compared to the Kia Rio na everywhere I go.. taxi siya!!!

^kaso ang mahal! inquired at kia and na-shock ako sa price niya. around 1.2M yata. akala ko same price range lang sila sa civic or mazda3. hindi pala. sayang ang ganda sana.. but too overpriced for a sedan. i'd rather buy an suv if i had that amount. tapos they only have the A/T variant. walang manual. gustong gusto ko sana ang looks ng car na to.

^ grabe talaga ang kia/hyundai magprice dito satin!  dapat nga mas mababa ang pricing nila vs japanese rivals, kasi ganun ang tactics nila sa ibang bansa.  kakaiba talaga pag pinoy na ang humawak

^exactly. gumanda nga ang ayos ng mga sasakyan nila pero hanep din naman sa taas ang pricing. similar or mas mahal pa nga siguro from japanese made brands. too bad talaga.

^ grabe no, to think na mababa ang resale value ng kia/hyundai, kahilera niya ang mitsu in general. pero depende rin daw sa model pag yung diesel medyo mataas hehe

i have an 8 month old kia picanto '09 in bright yellow.

new driver pa lang ako so mejo malakas pa ako sa gas. (di pa sanay? hehe)  fuel consumption ko is around 10km/L pero pag si hubby nagd-drive umaabot siya ng 13km/L.
