sharing my post re: SEO training, to those who are interested:

to those who are interested in SEO training/classes, i just talked to a friend who's been an SEO/marketing specialist since around 2003. she's thinking of giving a class on the subject kasi ang dami daw lumalapit sa kanya for training. she's the SEO specialist for the company i worked for before (an online travel agency), and she was solely responsible for landing us on the first page of Google that time, for a long time (kaya love na love ng owners hehe). she's also into freelance consultations right now, and is a much sought-after consultant sa various online companies. 

if you guys want, we can arrange a schedule of classes with her, depending on the free time of majority of those who are interested. wala pang set venue and dates, pero ittake into consideration din kung saan pinaka-convenient for everyone. just send me a message or post here so we can see how many are interested. ako rin kasi i want to learn more about SEO, so i thought it's a good idea to do it at the same time with my GT sisters

hi mga sis! to those who inquired about the SEO training, sorry if natagalan ang update ko...anyway, here it is:

i've just talked to my friend who'll be the one to conduct the training class. funny because it turned out that the trainer for the UP SEO class (yung napost na link/details dito before) was an acquaintance of hers, and also applied to her SEO company before ...so more or less yung training module natin is the same or more sa kung ano yung iooffer ng UP, with any additional topics that you guys might want covered.

we're still ironing out the details, but most likely we're going to conduct the classes in the Ortigas/QC area. dapat sana sa South, in the Paranaque area because my friend already has an office and internet cafe business there, but mukhang madami sa mga interested from the North part of the Metro e. now, we need to have kahit a tentative list sana ng mga interested, so we can finalize what type of venue we are going to look for.

Hi mga sis, I also do oDesk work during my free time.  I agree na medyo mahirap makahanap ng job ngayon.  Pero patience lang, and soon it will pay-off.  As per my experience, nahirapan din talaga ko to land my first oDesk job.  Pero after that, I get jobs from previous employers who liked my work.  Parang "suki" kumbaga.

Hello! I'm working in Odesk too. Matagal na akong naka register dun pero this summer lang ako naka pagstart mag apply ng jobs. I had my first assignment this June 2010. And so far, nagustuhan ng employer ko yung performance ko. Madami na siyang naassign na assignments sakin. Suki na! hehe..

By the way, mga sis, may prob ako. First time ko pa lang magwithdraw tapos nalimit ng paypal yung account ko. Kaya ngayon, nahold nila yung pera ko. Badtrip talaga! Anyone naka experience na nito? Need help!

Yup,sis! Verified na. I use Eon card. Now, paypal requires me to submit a passport, driver's license and a utility bill na nasa name ko. Eh wala pako nun. I still live with my parents and they are the ones who pay the bills. Hayy! 1 week na limited yung access ng account ko. I'm worried na baka ma freeze nila at mag wait pako ng 6 months para mawithdraw yung money. Need ko pa naman yun!

I just found out na pwede pala ang Smart Money Card to withdraw from paypal. Easier kumuha nyan than other bank accounts right?

Buti at nakita ko ang thread na ito.  Last year pa ako nagmember sa ODesk.  Pero ngayon lang ako nakapag  polish ng profile. 

I was so happy last week dahil may nakuha akong client.  Fixed basis.  Ang  nakakayamot, matapos kong paghirapan ang pinagawa nya, hindi na nagparamdam!!!  Nakakainis!! Sayang ang time and effort ko!!

Sana may kumuha na saking legitimate buyer.

Good news,sis! Narestore na yung paypal ko. Nawithdraw ko na rin yung 1st salary ko. Iba pala talaga ang feeling noh pag yung pinaghirapan mo tpos mabibili mo mga gusto mo..

Malaki talaga naitulong sakin ng Odesk. Swerte ko rin dahil more than 6mos. ang duration ng nakuha kong job. To think na 1st job assignment ko pa lang 'to at yung employer ko pa yung nag invite sakin sa job post niya...
