PH braces for super typhoon's arrival

Possible super typhoon may hit PHL on Thursday

Albay has been preparing for typhoon Yolanda since Monday. The governor called for the suspension of works and classes by Friday. And as early as Wednesday, madami ng school ang pinasuspend ang klase. Evacuation is on going. While Im not really a fan of the governor, times like this, thankful ako for having him around.

Di baleng sobra sa pagpaalala. Lalo dito sa atin, kelangang kulitin pa ang mga tao bago makinig. Tapos pag na-stranded na sa bahay, tsaka sabay sabay hihingi ng saklolo, endangering not just themselves but also the rescuers.

Sa ngayon ang taas ng araw sa Metro Manila. I hope Yolanda will weaken significantly once it hits land, at mabilis ang pagdaan sa Pilipinas. Kawawa lalo yung mga naapektuhan ng lindol.

yeah dito din Albay, the sun is up.  but so far, classes were suspended. everyone's been instructed to prepare their emergency kit.

It's good that there are provinces who took a pro-active stance in preparing for TY Yolanda, which have been dubbed by US meteorologists as the strongest typhoon in the world for 2013. I just can't imagine the level of devastation it will bring. Kakaawa lalo [textspeak!] mga provinces which were recently affected by the quake.

Let's PRAY guys sa mga kababayan naten sa VISAYAS and MINDANAO sa lahat ng apektado ng Super Typhoon. Sana huwag nang maminsala ng sobra si Yollanda.

Sobrang lakas nga ng typhoon na ito -- ang nakita ko pa sa news -- this is the strongest typhoon/cyclone recorded so far.  Hindi pa ma-assess ang damage na ginawa nito but from what they have shown on TV, mukhang of catastrophic magnitude na naman ito TSK! TSK!

I hope our barge was unharmed during the typhoon in tacloban.  I saw on the news that two barge daw lumubog and hindi namin macontact kapitan namin

natatakot ako for our kababayans in Visayas and Mindanao. Hindi sila macontact na

just a heads up, the country is expecting El Niño in the coming weeks or month, so expect extreme heat and sever typhoons
