^wala sis..sa december pa ata fully oeprational yung doppler radar natin..if meron na nun, kaya na ma-determine yung volume ng rainfall.

as of this time, signal number 2 na tayo sa metro manila.

Update: Storm Signal No. 3 hoisted in Metro Manila as 'Santi' nears

MANILA - Weather bureau PAGASA hoisted Storm Signal No. 3 in Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon as Typhoon Santi (international codename Mirinae) is forecast to make landfall Friday.

PAGASA weather branch chief Nathaniel Cruz said that as of 4 p.m. Friday, the storm was sighted 230 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon and moving at 24 kph.

Packing winds of 150 kph near the center and gusts of up to 185 kph, the typhoon is expected to make landfall in Quezon between 10 p.m. and 12 a.m.

Cruz said the storm will cross Rizal, Laguna, Cavite and then Metro Manila before heading towards the South China Sea by Saturday afternoon.

The weather bureau also hoisted Storm Signal No. 3 over Quezon province including Polillo Island, Bulacan, Bataan, Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro including Lubang Island, Marinduque, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur and Catanduanes.

Storm Signal No. 2 is hoisted over Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, Occidental Mindoro, Albay and Burias Island.

Storm Signal No. 1 is hoisted over Isabela, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Benguet, La Union, Pangasinan, Sorsogon, Masbate, Romblon, Calamian Group, Northern Samar and Northern Panay.

grabe lakas ng hangin.. kagabi around 12-1 e lakas ng ulan.. eto dito sa office dami absent kasi hirap sumakay. Tinatamad na din ako pumasok kaso nakaligo nako kanina. Buti hinatid ako ni hubby.. wala tuloy ako ka-shift.. huhu..

Ingat mga sis, daming lumilipad na bubong ngayon..

last santi, sad, sa lakas ng hangin nadurog bahay ng tito ko. kahoy lang kasi.

lakas nga ng hangin nung bagyong santi. parang buhawi na.. ngayon may bago na naman parating.. kawawa yung nasa paligid ng laguna de bay pataas ng pataas yung tubig.

I'm thankful that Santi didn't stay for long but lo and behold, another one comes in. It's just exasperating! Everytime there's news about another storm, panic just comes through me because of our Ondoy experience. I hope storms would stop coming in..please!

Korek sis, ako din pag may bagyo panic mode na din ako. Parang may trauma ako sa mga balitang ganyan. Kawawa naman mga taga North. Weekly ang dating ng bagyo..
